Riley Keough has officially been named the sole trustee of her late mother Lisa Marie Presley’s estate.

As previously reported, the 54-year-old daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley passed away on January 12 after going into cardiac arrest.

Her housekeeper found her unresponsive in her bedroom before her ex-husband Danny Keough administered CPR until paramedics arrived on the scene.

A week after her death, Lisa Marie was buried at her father's estate, Graceland, in Memphis - alongside him, her son Benjamin (who died by suicide in 2020 aged 27), her paternal grandparents, and her paternal great-grandmother.

Presley left behind three daughters: 34-year-old Riley Keough and 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley Lockwood.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, on Friday (August 4), a Los Angeles Superior Court judge approved a settlement that had been put forward by Keough - who is the eldest grandchild of the late rock ‘n’ roll icon - in June following a dispute with grandmother Priscilla over the future of the estate.

The new ruling will now see the Daisy Jones & the Six actress handle the sub-trusts of her 14-year-old half-sisters Finley and Harper Lockwood - from her late mom's marriage to musician Michael Lockwood.

In the court document cited by the publication, Judge Lynn H Scaduto wrote: "The settlement is in the best interests of minors Harper Lockwood and Finley Lockwood, and confirm that Michael Lockwood's signature on their behalf, as Guardian Ad Litem, is valid and binding."

Moving forward, the Lodge star will also own Elvis Presley's former estate Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, a property that he had endowed to his only child Lisa Marie when he tragically died in 1977.

In addition to this, the 78-year-old ex-wife of the late singer will be permitted to retrieve any personal belongings she has held within any facility controlled by the Graceland estate.

She has also been granted permission to be buried next to Elvis, her daughter, and her late grandson on the premises in the Meditation Garden.

The legal news comes after Keough shared a tribute to her late mother and brother on her Instagram Story after she received her first-ever Emmy nomination for her lead role in the Prime Video series. "Missing you both," she wrote next to a red heart emoji.

The Zola star - who shares a daughter with her husband Ben Smith-Petersen - took to the social media platform to remember her "deeply loving mama" mother on her first Mother's Day.

She shared a picture of her parents as they posed alongside her as a newborn, and captioned the post: "Lucky to have had the best and most deeply loving mama I could have asked for."
