S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole's heartbreaking death certificate has been disclosed.

The 46-year-old British singer was found at his home in Dorset, UK, on April 6 and was pronounced dead in the afternoon. He sadly passed away just weeks after S Club 7 announced a reunion tour to mark their 25th anniversary.

At the time of his sudden passing, Cattermole's band released the following statement: "We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel."

"We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time," they added.

Cattermole's family also shared a devastating statement that read: "It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole. Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon."

"While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances. Paul’s family, friends, and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time," they added.

Last month, a spokesperson for the Dorset Coroner's Service told PEOPLE that the 'Bring It All Back' musician's cause of death was "natural causes".

Now it has been further elaborated through a death certificate - obtained by the publication - that Cattermole passed from a combination of heart-related issues. This includes cardiac arrhythmia, acute myocardial ischemia and severe coronary artery atheroma, and intraplaque hemorrhage.

An arrhythmia is a difficulty with the rate or rhythm of one's heartbeat, which makes it hard to effectively pump blood to other parts of the body, as explained by the American Heart Association.

Meanwhile, myocardial ischemia is when reduced blood flow to one's heart keeps the heart from getting sufficient oxygen, hindering its ability to correctly pump blood, according to Mayo Clinic.

The coroner's spokesperson told the outlet that investigations into Cattermole’s death have now been concluded.

Cattermole's bandmate Hannah Spearitt - who he had dated while in the group before the couple briefly reunited in 2015 - announced that she was leaving the S Club 7 25th anniversary tour following his death.

The remaining five members of the group - Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara, and Rachel Stevens - revealed that the band would rebrand as "S Club" and that the tour would go on as planned.

In a video posted to the band's Instagram, Lee said: "You’ve probably noticed that there’s only five of us here today, and although Hannah will always be part of S Club 7, she won’t be joining us on this tour. We wish her all the best for the future."

"The five of us are really excited and geared up to crack on," he continued. "It's going to be our tribute to Paul. So, we are actually renaming the tour 'The Good Times Tour,' which is the song that Paul was going to sing."
