Fans have been left teary-eyed after seeing a video of Taylor Swift "almost breaking down" during a performance on stage at a recent concert.
During an emotional performance on night two in Chicago, Illinois, fans were treated to the 33-year-old's track 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' as the surprise song.
But while eager Swifties were excited to hear the tune live, they were not prepared for their idol to break down on stage as she did.
It all started well, but when Swift got to the line "Wondering if I dodged a bullet or just lost the love of life," her voice broke and her breathing got hoarse, leaving fans to speculate whether she was thinking about her former lover during the song.
In a video posted to TikTok, thousands of fans gathered to beg Joe Alwyn, who Swift dated for six years until the pair called it quits earlier this year, to give the 33-year-old something.
"This is too emotional. Joe Alwyn, do something, babe!", one user commented while another also echoed the same sentiment saying: "JOE DO SOMETHING FOR TJE LOVE OF GOD."
A third also pointed out that "She played 'I wish you would', 'the lakes', 'you all over me', and now this!! She is hurting."
And the comments didn't stop there.
"Her face when she says: lost the love of my life," said another emotional Swiftie.
"She sang that for joe for sure," another added.
The video also made the rounds on Twitter where other fans admitted that after seeing it, they couldn't help but share the singer's heartbreak.
"I saw a video of taylor swift almost breaking down singing, she was about to cry with a knot in her throat, 'wondering if i dodged a bullet or just lost the love of life' and i started crying?? Whats wrong with me," wrote one Twitter user.
"Taylor choking up while singing 'wondering if i dodged a bullet or just lost the love of my life' ruined my life actually," another also added.
Now, this isn't the first time we've seen the Grammy-award-winning superstar get emotional during her Eras tour.
Shortly after her break up was announced to the public back in April, a resurfaced video of Swift performing 'Champagne Problems' during the earlier leg of the Eras Tour had fans worried.
The emotional video resurfaced on TikTok as some sort of 'Easter Egg' after it was initially posted the month prior and shows the 12-time Grammy award winner allegedly crying while singing the lines "...One for the money, two for the show, I never was ready so I watched you go / Sometimes you just don't know the answer until someone's on their knees and asks you. 'She would have made such a lovely bride, what a shame she's f***** in the head' they said..."
Hundreds of fans took to the comments to express their sadness about the moment with many of them claiming that they felt Swift's pain as if they'd been broken up with too.
It comes as Entertainment Tonight reported the news of the 33-year-old singer's break up with the 32-year-old British actor on April 8, stating that a source close to the pair had revealed their separation happened "a few weeks ago."
"The relationship had just run its course. It's why [Alwyn] hasn't been spotted at any shows," the source continued before adding that "they simply grew apart and plan to remain friends."
Swift and Alwyn were first rumored to be dating back in 2016 and the news was seemingly confirmed after a source told People that Swift was "very happy" in her relationship.
"He is her rock. Their relationship is mature and wonderful," the source added at the time.
Please excuse me while I cry myself to sleep.
