YouTube star Logan Paul is courting controversy yet again.

The 24-year-old announced on Tuesday's episode of his Impaulsive podcast that he's considering a run for the Oval Office when he turns 35 - the minimum age requirement for a U.S. president as set out by Article II of the Consitution.

Ohio-born star Paul may be young, but he's already become engulfed in several controversies. In 2017, he received widespread backlash for filming a dead body in Japan's 'suicide forest', which he subsequently apologized for.

Since then, the star has embarked on an exhibition boxing career and focused on his podcast, as well as rebuilding his 23 million strong YouTube following.

Apparently, he's also been considering a career in politics. During a conversation about whether society benefits the rich on his podcast, Paul let slip that he's thinking of running for office.

"I really do think I'm going to make a run for president when I'm 35," he said.

His manager Jeff Levin - who also appeared on the podcast - then asked the star what his first policy would be.

"I don't know. I have to do more research but I think I could do some seriously good s*** that is so necessary and in my head feels inevitable, but someone has to do it," he replied.

'Impaulsive' co-host Mike Majlak then jumped in to ask if Paul could see him as a potential VIce President and make him his running mate, to which Paul replied jokingly: "No, because you can't run."

This isn't the first time that Paul has suggested he might run for presidency. Back in 2019, the star tweeted a clip from Joe Rogan's podcast in which comedian Tim Dillon joked about making Logan Paul the leader of the free world.

"I will make Logan Paul president. He's a smart guy. He will run. YouTubers are going to have millions of dollars, millions of fans, and no skills when they're all 40," said Dillon.

Paul responded to the idea by sharing it on Twitter with the caption: "I'll do it."
