Donald Trump has slammed Hillary Clinton at yesterday's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), as he referred to her as the "most angry person" in the US.
During his 90 minute address at the GOP event, the ex-POTUS slammed a number of his political rivals and critics including the likes of President Joe Biden and, of course, former White House hopeful Hillary Clinton.
Trump said of Clinton: "Crooked Hillary Clinton - who by the way - is the most angry person in the United States today... She's gone away..."
The 75-year-old then implied that Clinton would have been upset that the election she ran for back in 2016 was not rigged - falsely suggesting that his own defeat by Biden in 2020 was rigged.
Trump went on: "You know why? She said, 'Why the hell didn't you do that [rig the election] for me in 2016? Forget it, there are more people than her..."
And as he spoke about the former Secretary of State, the crowd started chanting: "Lock her up!"
Trump's claims of voter fraud are wholly unfounded - in fact, US election security officials have confirmed the election was "the most secure in American history".
Elsewhere in his speech, he slammed President Biden, telling the crowd: "Joe Biden has brought our country to the brink of ruin."
"Right here in Texas, we are the epicenter of the border and migration crisis unlike anything anyone has ever seen before in the history of our country," Trump added.
He went on to say about Democratic policies on crime: "In New York City crime is out of control. It’s at record levels with nobody being prosecuted except of course for innocent Republicans are being prosecuted.
"The Democrats know their policies on crime are so unpopular, so radical, so crazy, they are now trying to pretend they never lead 'Defund the Police' movement in the first place. 'We never said Defund the Police, you know who did, the Republicans did it.' That’s what they do. It’s called disinformation."
Reiterating his own conservative policies, he said on behalf of the Democratic party: "We will secure our borders. We will stop left-wing cancel culture. We will restore free speech and fair elections. And we will make America great again."

Sen. Bernie Sanders has announced that he is officially ending his presidential campaign on Wednesday (April 8), clearing Joe Biden's path to the Democratic nomination and a showdown with President Donald Trump in November.
You can watch Bernie Sander's address in the video below:
[[youtubewidget||https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnRivUNrobA]]
"I wish I could give you better news, but I think you know the truth," Sanders said. The Vermont senator noted that Joe Biden’s delegate lead had made a victory "virtually impossible".
"I have concluded that this battle for the Democratic nomination will not be successful, and so today I am announcing the suspension of my campaign," Sanders said.
In his address, he declared that "the fight for justice is what our campaign has been about" and that the Democratic party will continue to "defeat Donald Trump, the most dangerous president in modern American history."
Sanders also congratulated Biden on his victory in the Democratic primary, calling the former vice president "a very decent man".
And despite the fact Sanders is suspending his campaign, he did say that he would remain on the ballot and continue to gather delegates for future primaries, saying:
"While Joe Biden will be the nominee, we must continue working to assemble as many delegates as possible at the Democratic Convention, where we will be able to exert significant influence over the party platform and other functions."
Meanwhile, Trump has responded to the news with a tweet:

The President said: "Bernie Sanders is OUT! Thank you to Elizabeth Warren. If not for her, Bernie would have won almost every state on Super Tuesday! This ended just like the Democrats & the DNC wanted, same as the Crooked Hillary fiasco. The Bernie people should come to the Republican Party, TRADE!"

Mike Lindell, a pillow salesman, has been forced to pay out $5 million after somebody took on his challenge of "Prove Mike Wrong" and won.
Lindell was outraged at the result of the 2020 election which saw Joe Biden elected President over Donald Trump - so much so that he delved into the world of conspiracy theories.
The pillow salesman was so convinced that Chinese interference skewed the result of the election, he offered a wager to anyone who could disprove the data that he allegedly had, per BBC News.
In 2021 he put his money where his mouth is and offered $5 million to anybody who could "Prove Mike Wrong" - not counting on the fact that somebody probably would.
A private arbitration panel ruled on Wednesday (April 19) that a software expert met the challenge and was owed the money.
Lindell created a so-called "cyber symposium" and believed the data he held showed that Chinese interference had swung some states to elect Biden.
Bob Zeidman, the software expert, was deemed to have proven that the data that Lindell possessed had no relation to the 2020 election.
Speaking to CBS, Zeidman explained that he stewed over the data presented by Lindell for a few hours, before coming to the conclusion that it was all "bogus".
"I called my wife and said, 'Think about what you want to do with $5 million'," Zeidman said.
The software expert, who confessed that he himself had twice voted for Trump, revealed that the data that was presented was "a simple Word document and a table," that was laid out "to look sophisticated, and it wasn't".
Ziedman said that he submitted his findings to a panel that was brought in to oversee the challenge, and after he heard nothing back, he opted to take legal action.
The private arbitration panel made it clear that it wasn't their job to determine whether the 2020 election results were interfered with, but purely to see whether Lindell's data had been disproven.
Lindell doesn't appear to be taking the news of being proven wrong too well, as he stated: "I don't owe him money. He didn't prove anything."
He continued: "This has all been one big plan, a coordinated plan, to stop me and others from getting rid of the electronic voting machines in the country and get back to hand-counted paper ballots."
Dominion, the company that operates the electronic voting machines, successfully sued Fox News and was awarded $787.5m after the outlet defamed them. They have since taken legal action against the pillow salesman.
Zeidman told CBS that when he receives the money, he will donate a portion to a charity supporting voter integrity.
The moral of this story is don't make bets that you can't keep.

Former President Donald Trump has filed a lengthy federal lawsuit against Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, and other individuals when he claims deliberately undermined his 2016 presidential campaign.
The lawsuit - which is over 108 pages long - accuses Clinton and others of falsely tying Trump to Russia and orchestrating a "deep state" conspiracy against him, CNN reports.
"Acting in concert, the defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty," claims the lawsuit, which was filed in Florida on Thursday (March 24).
"Under the guise of 'opposition research,' 'data analytics,' and other political stratagems, the Defendants nefariously sought to sway the public's trust. They worked together with a single, self-serving purpose: to vilify Donald J. Trump," it continues.
The accused include a long list of Trump's longtime political opponents. Former FBI Director James Comey, retired British spy Christopher Steele, and a handful of Clinton campaign advisers are among those who the former president alleges conspired against him.
As for their crimes, the lawsuit claims that Clinton and top Democrats fabricated evidence linking Trump to Russia, then spread that misinformation to the media in the hopes of hampering his chances of making it to the Oval Office in 2016. It goes on to assert that they were helped by top FBI "Clinton loyalists" who abused their power to defame Trump.
"The actions taken in furtherance of their scheme - falsifying evidence, deceiving law enforcement, and exploiting access to highly sensitive data sources - are so outrageous, subversive, and incendiary that even the events of Watergate pale in comparison," reads the lawsuit.
The lawsuit is demanding over $24 million in costs and damages
Clinton's 2016 campaign chairman John Podesta tweeted about the lawsuit, implying that the allegations made in it were a joke.
"Do you think Trump filed this case with the hope of calling Vladimir Putin as a character witness? Trump deposition ought to be a hoot," Podesta wrote.
Meanwhile, Aitan Goelman - who represents former FBI official Peter Strzok - told CNN that, knowing Trump, he highly doubted any of the claims the lawsuit made were founded in reality.
"We haven't had a chance to read the complaint, but knowing the former President, there's probably very little in there that's true," he said.

A Trump supporter who gave $2.5m in a bid to help expose and prosecute claims of voter fraud in the presidential election now wants his money back, per reports by the Guardian and Bloomberg.
Fredric Eshelman, a North Carolina businessman who is the co-founder of Eshelman Ventures LLC, said he gave the money to True the Vote, a pro-Trump "election ethics" group promising to file lawsuits in seven key swing states in a bid to “investigate, litigate, and expose suspected illegal balloting and fraud in the 2020 general election”.

However, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in Houston federal court and cited by Bloomberg, Eshelman says that after “regularly and repeatedly" asking for updates on the project his “requests were consistently met with vague responses, platitudes, and empty promises.”
Per Bloomberg, True the Vote filed four lawsuits in the weeks subsequent to the election but dropped all of them last week.
“While we stand by the voters’ testimony that was brought forth, barriers to advancing our arguments, coupled with constraints on time, made it necessary for us to pursue a different path,” the group said in a statement on its website.
“Our mission is much bigger than just one election. It is about repairing the system for all future elections.”
Despite the repeated claims of voter fraud made by President Trump and his supporters, no evidence has been forthcoming of widespread problems, Bloomberg notes.
Indeed, yesterday it was reported that a Trump-ordered recount of votes in Wisconsin's largest country actually culminated in president-elect Joe Biden gaining votes.
According to the Associated Press, Milwaukee County concluded its recount of presidential ballots on Friday, finding only small changes in totals for one of the two counties that were recounting ballots.
Per AP, president-elect Joe Biden's total lead increased by 132 votes after county election officials recounted in excess of 450,000 votes.

The Trump campaign had demanded recounts in two of Wisconsin's counties, according to the Guardian, after the incumbent president lost Wisconsin to Joe Biden by more than 20,000 votes.
It's believed that the two recounts will cost the Trump campaign $3m.
George Christenson, the Milwaukee county clerk, said after the recount had concluded, "The recount demonstrates what we already know: that elections in Milwaukee county are fair, transparent, accurate and secure."
