A "crazy" fan has paid a whopping $85,000 (£70,000) for a dinner date with Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard - with all the proceeds going to charity.
The 26-year-old Wimbledon runner-up auctioned off the chance to accompany her on a date as part of the 'All In Challenge' - which has seen hundreds of celebrities attempt to raise money amid the virus outbreak by auctioning off once in a lifetime experiences or memorabilia.
For example, the cast of Friends offered up the opportunity for somebody to bring five of their friends along to the taping of their highly anticipated HBO reunion show.

However, Bouchard's once-in-a-lifetime opportunity not only included a dinner date with the stunning athlete, but also a seat to watch her play in a tennis tournament of their choice.
The description for the prize read:
"Get more than your 15 seconds of fame with Genie Bouchard.
"The lucky winner and a guest will go to any tennis tournament of their choice. That's right, US Open, French Open, Wimbledon or the Australian Open - Genie has the airfare covered.
"Sit in the player's box next to Genie's team and coach while you cheer her on to victory.
"Enjoy a meal with the tennis star and even get a racket and sneakers signed by Genie herself."
In total, 37 bids were placed, with offers starting at a minimum of $3000 (£2,500). However, nobody could outbid the eventual winner - who is yet to be identified.

Following the end of the auction and the incredible sum of money raised, Bouchard took to Instagram to write: "85K?!?!? you guys are AMAZING!!! i’m so grateful and proud of you all for joining me on this project. i can’t wait to meet the winner!
"This will help those in need so much. the proceeds go to @mealsonwheelsamerica, @nokidhungry, @americasfoodfund, @wckitchen & @feedingamerica."

But this isn't the first time Bouchard - who was formerly seeded at number 5 in the world - has gone on a date with a total stranger.
Back in 2017, she met up with a Twitter follower after losing a bet on the Super Bowl.
Amazingly, Bouchard enjoyed her time so much with lucky John Goehrke that she even arranged a second date.

Just a few months ago, most people had not heard of 23-year-old Brooks Nader.
However, after attending the first-ever open casting call for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in Miama, the Baton Rouge-native soon earned herself a spot in the final six out of over 10,000 hopefuls. Then, after impressing in front of the camera of famed photographer Yu Tsai, Nader was named the 2019 model search winner.

In her rookie year, Nader was once again photographed by Tsai, this time in Bali, but it wasn't until the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year awards in December 2019 that Nader gained an overwhelming amount of attention - and a lot of it was down to her outfit choice for the evening.
Donning a sheer mini-dress, Nader quickly went viral on social media. But sadly, not all the comments were positive.
Check out Brooks absolutely owning it on a Sports Illustrated shoot:

Despite the fact Brooks has received over 22,000 'Likes' on an Instagram post of the eye-popping dress, along with a string of comments complimenting her "stunning" outfit choice, she has also received a lot of negative comments, with some even claiming she was "asking to be raped".
Now, in an interview with Fox News, Nader has revealed that she never realized the dress would be as sheer as it was, and how Megan Rapinoe inspired her to ignore the haters. Naders said:
"I really didn't know it was that sheer when I tried it on. And then with the flash on the red carpet, I thought it was just a normal event. But then when I saw it I was like, 'Oh, it looks kind of cool. It's pretty sheer, I kind of like it.'
"So when people were commenting mean stuff about the sheer dress - whatever - I kind of don't really care because I really liked the dress and it was such an empowering event."
Nader continued:
"Megan Rapinoe won Sportsperson of the Year. She was talking about how unapologetic she is with the signature move that she does when she scores a goal. [...]
"And so I was kind of like, 'Well I'm a rookie this year so I can wear a sheer dress if I want to'. Not really [laughs] but I mean I thought it looked good and half the people thought it did, half the people thought it didn't. […] I think people that comment mean things and give hate over stuff like that just kind of have nothing better to do. I really did like the dress and I thought it looked good. So that's that."
In a previous interview with Fox News back in December, Nader said: "I can’t say that I ignore the haters and it doesn’t hurt my feelings because it does.
"But what sticks with me more is fans and friends sticking up for me in [the] comments. I feel sorry for people [who] have to put others down. It’s all about lifting people up and supporting each other."
The model also explained that although she wasn't expective the response she received, she doesn't mind because "fashion is different for everyone":
"When I was trying on outfits for my event, I was not going for or expecting the response that I got. I always like to be edgy, fun and take fashion risks at times. I like my attitude to be consistent with my style. It’s important to be authentic and confident when it comes to anything I do in my life. I dress for me - no one else. Fashion is different for everyone and I never judge people’s choices."

Tennis player Kamil Majchrzak is getting a lot of positive attention after making an incredible gesture to a young boy who had his cap taken by a CEO.
After the Polish tennis pro clinched one of the biggest wins of his career against number nine seed Karen Khachanov in a dramatic five-set match on August 28, he stopped to sign autographs for fans gathered at Court 11 at the US Open.
Among the crowd was a young boy named Brock, who appeared overjoyed when Majchrzak handed him a signed Asics-branded cap.
But as the cameras rolled, a man standing nearby was seen taking the hat from the child and slipping it into his bag — leaving Brock visibly upset.
The incident sparked outrage on social media, where viewers slammed the move as “disgusting” and “bullying.”
One user even wrote: "Good job on the player for showing the kid there can still be some justice in this world.”
Majchrzak, who hadn’t initially realized what had happened, soon saw the viral footage and immediately took to Instagram to make things right. “Hey guys, could you help me find the kid from my match @usopen @eurosportpl,” he posted.
It didn’t take long for fans to rally behind the cause. Shortly after, Majchrzak reunited with the boy, posting a series of heartwarming photos and videos alongside him.
“Glad the kid got another hat. A lot of players wouldn't do this but he goes the extra mile,” one fan commented. Another added: "The tennis player is Kamil Majchrzak and that's a class act. Hats off to him."
Majchrzak explained to The New York Post what had happened: “I was pointing, giving the hat, but I had a lot going on after my match, after being super tired and super excited for the win. I just missed it. I had like a dead look if you know what I mean. I’m sure the guy was also acting in the moment of heat, in the moment of emotions.”
He also confirmed that with help from @asicstennis, Brock received another cap, and that he’d shared Brock’s mom’s contact information so the man who took the hat could reach out directly.
That man, now identified as Piotr Szczerek — a Polish millionaire and CEO of paving company Drogbruk — eventually admitted to being the one seen in the video and issued a lengthy public apology.
In a statement posted to Facebook, per The Sun, Szczerek said: “Due to the situation that happened during Kamil Majchrzak's match at the US Open, I would like to clearly apologize to the injured boy, his family, as well as all the fans and the player himself. I have made a huge mistake.”
He claimed it was all a misunderstanding in the post-match chaos.
“In emotions, in the crowd rejoicing after the victory, I was convinced the tennis player tips his hat in my direction - to my sons who have asked for autographs earlier. The misconception caused me to pull out my hand. Today I know I did something that looked like a deliberate collection of the child's souvenir.
“This was not my intention, but it doesn't change the fact I hurt the boy and disappointed the fans. The hat was given to the boy, and apologies to the family. I hope. Just Partly. I have repaired the hurt that has been done.”
Szczerek also made it clear that neither he nor his family had commented elsewhere online: "I also want to make it clear, neither myself, nor my wife, nor my sons have commented on this situation on social media as well as on any portal. We have not used the services of any office legal in this regard. All alleged statements appearing online are not ours."
As backlash mounted, Drogbruk faced swift reputational damage. The company's Google rating plummeted to 1.4 stars, while Trustpilot shut down its page entirely “due to media attention.”
Szczerek acknowledged the impact: “For years, my wife and I have been engaged in helping children and young athletes, but this situation has shown I think that one moment of disregard can ruin years of work and support. It hurts for me, but a needed lesson in humility. I believe that only through actions can rebuild what has been lost trust.”
He concluded: “Again, I'm sorry to anyone I disappointed. Please understand - for my family's sake - I decided to turn off the option comments on this post.”
