It's fair to say that this year's Super Bowl was a little underwhelming on the field. However, it seems as though all the drama surrounding the event has managed to overshadow the game in some respects. Just think about all the trailers and ads we were subjected to, the controversies and scandals, and even the amazing performance of the national anthem. It's a bit irksome for football fans who only care about the sport and are indifferent to all the hype surrounding it. But for everyone else, it's all just part of the fun.

Needless to say, one of last night's big talking points was the couple goals exhibited by the quarterback for the New England Patriots, Tom Brady, and his beautiful wife Gisele Bündchen. Thanks to Brady's countless achievements, many experts, analysts and sportswriters consider Brady to possibly be the greatest quarterback in NFL history. Yet it was his wife's encouragement after their big win that seemed to mean the most to him.

Gisele paid tribute to her talented athlete of a husband with a cute Instagram post shared with her many thousands of followers. The picture showed the two of them sharing a tender kiss at the end of the game, surrounded by cameras. Gisele captioned the photo: "What a special night. Congratulations Patriots! Congratulations my love! Your tireless commitment, discipline and hard work never ceases to amaze me. We love you!"

In a recent interview with Oprah, Tom spoke about the differences between himself and his wife, stating: "She had five sisters and I had three sisters, so it's a lot of women. And, you know, she comes from a different country and to move to New York when she was 17 and we met each other under pretty trying circumstances. And I think in a lot of ways that really challenging experience brought us together, in a very tight way."

Meanwhile, Gisele has recently talked about Tom's super-romantic proposal, stating: "When he proposed to me he made up this whole story how my apartment was flooding, and I ran over there to fix the situation. When I got there the whole apartment had candles and rose petals everywhere, and then he went down on his knees to propose. I was like, 'Get up!' because he just had surgery and had three staph infections. I'm like, 'What are you doing?' He's like, 'I gotta go on my knees.' I'm like, 'No, no, no. Get up, please!' So, here we are."

It just goes to show that, so matter how good you are at what you do, it simply wouldn't be possible to achieve your goals without the support of your loved ones. Gisele and Tom really know how to score couple touchdowns.

According to a new book about NFL star Tom Brady, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen brutally told her husband that she felt they were no longer compatible before she ended their 13-year marriage in 2022.

Author Lars Anderson wrote heavily about how Tom’s long and successful football career put a massive strain on their relationship and ultimately led to the demise of their marriage.

One short sentence ended their marriage

An insider reported to be close to the former New England Patriots star told Anderson: "One day, Gisele, who is really into astrology, basically looked into the stars and told Tom, ‘We’re not compatible.'"

"And just like that, she was done," he alleged in Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness, which was obtained by the Daily Mail.

Tom’s determination to continue playing football despite having two young children at the time. Since the 2017 Super Bowl, when the New England Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons, Gisele had pushed for him to hang up his boots after 23 NFL seasons.

On that monumental night, the supermodel rushed onto the field to celebrate the Patriots’ victory and Brady’s sixth Super Bowl win, but instead of congratulating her husband, she allegedly said, "Would now be the perfect time to retire?"

According to the biography, hours later, Bündchen, 46, allegedly asked Brady, 49, again about retirement, to which he replied with: "Too bad, babe. I’m having too much fun right now."

A year later, in 2018, shortly after the Patriots lost the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles, Bündchen wrote a serious note to Brady, asking him to dedicate more time to their young family.

Tom's career was detrimental to the couple's marriage

Anderson writes: "She needed him to be present when he was at home, not responding to text messages on his constantly buzzing cell phone or replaying a game in his mind."

"She needed more help with the kids. She needed the chance to sleep in just a few days a week. She needed more time for her own career," he added.

An unnamed former teammate of Brady’s spoke out about the potential struggles of being married to the former quarterback.

The friend and colleague also said that Gisele was "a bigger international star" than the athlete and was probably "getting tired of living" on his schedule.

Anderson reports that the teammate said: "The guy gets up at the crack of dawn, thinks all day about a game that is foreign to his wife, comes home, and is in bed each night by nine.

"He can’t really eat out or go out without causing a scene. Everything he puts in his mouth tastes like s**t. The whole lifestyle had to be getting tiresome for Gisele," he said.

"I can’t believe it’s already been 10 years since we’ve chosen to walk this life together… and what incredible 10 years we’ve had!" Gisele said of her marriage to Tom Brady.

"There is nothing that I love more in this world than you and our family. Thank you for being on this journey with me and for doing the work that it takes to make it so special. May we continue growing together, walking side by side supporting and loving one another for many many years to come."

Getting emotional? No? Well wait, there's more to come; determined not to be left out, Tom Brady followed suit on his own Instagram account. Even though he's got six Super Bowl rings to show off, I get the feeling that the ring Brady's most proud of is the wedding band that signifies his love for Gisele.

"Ten years ago, I didn’t realize how much I could love you and the family we created together," Brady began in his own emotional Instagram post.

"My heart is so full and I am so blessed! I know our journey has not been easy, but the challenges we have overcome have made our bond stronger and our love grow deeper. Thank you for loving me, for supporting my dreams, and for nurturing our family in the way that only you could. You are my rock, my love and my light! I love you and I love our family!"

What makes their 10-year marriage even more impressive is that Tom Brady and Gisele's relationship didn't quite start on the perfect note. Early into their courtship, Brady realised he was about to become a father... with a totally different woman.

Having dated Bridget Moynahan for two years, it was after two months of dating Gisele that he learned his ex was pregnant, but Gisele took it all in her stride, revealing her inner conflict in her book Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life.

Yesterday the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams at Super Bowl 53, giving quarterback Tom Brady six rings. On Twitter, people compared the 41-year-old to Marvel supervillain Thanos, joking that he completed the Infinity Gauntlet. Now, with just one snap of his finger, he can make half of the entire NFL roster disappear!

Following the Patriot's 13-3 victory, Brady's wife, model Gisele Bündchen, was spotted in the luxury box, jumping for joy and high-fiving other spectators. For fans of the same team winning over and over again, it was a euphoric moment - basically, the exact opposite of how everyone felt watching Maroon 5's lackluster halftime show. (The NFL reportedly had trouble booking musical artists, due to their solidarity with quarterback-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick.)

However, Gisele Bündchen wasn't the only model thrilled that the dudes wearing blue, red and silver beat the dudes wearing white, blue and gold. Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Camille Kostek is dating Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, known affectionately by fans as "Gronk." Before kickoff, she shared a black-and-white photo of the couple on Instagram, "Can’t express how proud I am of this guy."

When the Patriots beat the Rams, everyone in New England screamed with joy, and everyone in Los Angeles said, "Wait, what? We have a football team?" Hours earlier, Camille said she couldn't conjure the right words to describe her fathomless Gronk-love. However, she had no such trouble after her boyfriend collected his third Super Bowl ring. On Instagram, she posted a candid photo of the couple kissing, with the flirty caption: "Tastes like a champion."

Camile was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots franchise from 2013 to 2015. "We first got in touch once I resigned from the team," she told Fox News. "I always knew who he was before I was even a cheerleader. I knew who he was on the roster. I just never paid any mind. Once I resigned is when we finally met."

We know the Gronk loves collecting Super Bowl rings, but what about engagement rings? "I don’t know about my near future," Camile told Improper Bostonian. "I like to think of my life as very spontaneous and new all the time. So whenever a proposal comes into my life, I think that I’ll be very surprised, but right now, Rob and I are totally career-focused. We’re not just a fling. We definitely see a future with each other. But as of right now, there are no plans."

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have come together after their divorce to mourn the death of their beloved family dog.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Brady, 46, posted two photos so his Stories. The first showed two of his children — Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, - snuggling the pup alongside a heartbreaking caption that read: "We love you Lua RIP," with three heart emojis and a prayer hands emoji too.

The follow-up photo was a single shot of the pet, which included another caption that read: "Forever in our hearts" with yet another heart emoji.

Bündchen, 43, also took to Instagram to post her own tribute to their beloved dog following Brady’s Stories.

"Our little Lulu, our guardian angel is gone to heaven. She will forever live in our hearts. We already miss her sooooo much! #unconditionallove RIPLua," she wrote in the caption alongside three photos of the puppy.

The first showed the model hugging Lua, snuggling right into her fur, while the other two were heartwarming photos of the dog.

Hundreds of fans took to the comments to comfort the star during this difficult time including Peta who commented: "Our hearts ache for the loss of your beloved Lulu. We extend our deepest condolences to you and your family. May the cherished memories of Lulu bring you comfort, and may her spirit forever reside in your heart."

"Oh! I’m so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful angel! I lost my furry son Junior a few months ago and I know he’ll always be with me. Sending love to you and family," added another user.

A third social media user also stated: "It is the worst pain. What a beautiful tribute."

While both Brady and Bündchen may still be separated during this time, fans were glad to see them opn the same page after their highly-publicized divorce.

Earlier this year, the Brazilian model and NFL veteran confirmed that they would be parting ways after 13 years of marriage.

The couple announced their split in separate Instagram posts, with Bündchen writing: "With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce.

"My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they deserve," she continued.

"The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always," she added.

At the same time, Brady also posted a statement to his 14.6 million followers, which read: "In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together."

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback then added: "We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.

"We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration," he concluded. "We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate what is to come in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you."

Our thoughts are with the family while they mourn the loss of their beloved pet.
