A woman has gone viral on TikTok after revealing her date sent her home in an Uber because he didn't like her outfit.

In a series of videos, @nikki.jabs explained how a man she'd been seeing for three weeks let her down so badly.

The first video shows Niki in her outfit - a pink coat, heels, and cropped black blouse - with text overlay explaining the situation.

"It's been three weeks. I spent 40 min on my makeup to meet his friends and coworkers [...] He was too embarrassed to be seen with me in this outfit, so he sent me home in an Uber," the TikTok reads.

In a later video clip that has 'All Too Well' by Taylor Swift playing in the background, Nikki shared pictures of herself crying in the back of the cab. When she got home, she tried to explain the situation further while sobbing to the camera.

"I'm just so sad because I spent so much time trying to look pretty and he sent me home in an Uber. Who does that?

"He sent me home with a stranger on a Friday night."

Both videos have been viewed over 7 million times on TikTok. In another clip, Niki reveals that the incident wasn't the first time he had commented on her appearance.

"It all started with little comments here and there over the last couple of weeks, like, 'why are you wearing heels? I like it when you wear tennis shoes. Why are you wearing so much makeup? I like it when you're natural."

She also reassures her followers that after he got her the Uber, she packed up all her belongings from his house and went straight back home. When he later begged her to take him back, she stood firm.

"I didn't have any of it. I didn't touch him and I didn't stay," she said.

People on social media have been relieved to hear that Niki left the relationship, and left her an outpouring of support in the comments section.

One person commented: “There’s going to be an apology and begging. Please don’t listen to him, it’s only going to get worse. You’re beautiful and deserve so much more!”

Another user said: "Three weeks in and he's trying to tell you what to wear. This is a BLESSING he showed his true colours this early."
