A woman has shared the "uncomfortable" moment a guy repeatedly hit on her while she was at work, despite her clearly not being interested.
Taking to social media to share her encounter, 18-year-old Tiktoker @mickey.ruiz uploaded a video of her working, while a guy fails to take the hint and repeatedly questions her about her life.
The Virginia teen captioned the original video, "bro i’m at work. cant catch a break [sic]", and later re-uploaded the awkward interaction with captions.
In the clip, an unidentified guy can be heard repeatedly questioning the teenager while she's behind the counter at work.
You can check out the video below:The clip has been cut for brevity, but still, the short video shows the guy asking how old she is, what college she attends, where her college is, whether she has an Instagram account, why she doesn't have Instagram, if she wanted to know his PIN, if she hacky sacks, and if she goes to the beach.
At one point, he can be heard calling her "cute", as the words "[I'm] just trying to do my job" are written across the video.
Both the original video and the captioned version have amassed a combined 7.9 million views, with many people taking to the comments section to discuss the encounter.
Some people were quick to show their support for the Tiktoker, with one person commenting: "I literally do not understand there were so many cues that you didn't want to continue talking and he just kept on going".
A second social media user added: "You were so clear. I'm so sorry."
A third commented: "[It's] the fact he didn't care that you were clearly uncomfortable. [Not] surprising unfortunately."
"You literally COULD NOT act more uninterested and he STILL could not take a hint," a fourth wrote.
However, despite the majority of comments being in support of the teenager, there were some TikTok users who saw no fault in the male's actions.
"Maybe I'm just a friendly person but I don't see anything wrong with this lol yea he shouldn't have stayed after paying but before it looks innocent," wrote one person.
Meanwhile, another argued that if the genders were reversed, "nobody would say anything".
"Everyone acting like he was going to hurt her when he just not taking a hint. Judging him is bad [too]," they added.
In a further comment, @mickey.ruiz confirmed that any information she gave the guy about herself in the video is false.
