A woman has shared a troubling experience with her followers on TikTok, warning women about an illegal act that could happen during one-night stands.
Kate, who usually posts content related to women's health, such as endometriosis and birth control, was moved to address a disturbing issue she overheard while at the gym.
In her video, Kate explains that while using the sauna at her gym, she overheard a conversation between two men discussing a man they know who has hidden cameras in his bedroom.
According to them, he deliberately invites women back to his house for sex, all while secretly recording them without their consent. This information deeply disturbed Kate, and she felt compelled to share the warning with her followers.
Kate shared that she was shocked by how casually the men discussed this illegal and predatory behavior. “I was at the gym yesterday, and there were two men in the sauna talking about the most horrific thing, like it threw me off to such an extent that it just ruined my mood for the day,” she said.
“There were two guys in the sauna, and they were talking openly about how they know a guy who has hidden cameras in his house or his bedroom, and he purposely takes girls back to his house to have sex with them to be recorded.”
The conversation quickly turned more disturbing as Kate revealed the men didn’t condemn the behavior. Instead, they seemed indifferent to the harm it could cause.
“I’m assuming that these men didn’t call this guy out for the freak that he is, like that’s weird, predatory illegal behavior,” she said, pointing out the lack of action on the part of the men. “Women have to be so extremely careful, especially nowadays, when there is so much of this really non-consensual behavior.”
Kate also highlighted a serious concern about the lack of accountability. "These men are all protecting this one guy who is doing horrific things to women," she said. “Not only are these two guys not holding this guy accountable, they've not gone to the police with the information.”
She also noted that large groups of men, including those involved in online groups, often protect one another, which leads to more women being at risk.
Her video has sparked conversations about the importance of holding individuals accountable for such actions, as well as the need to address this growing issue of predatory behavior.
Kate’s TikTok is a stark reminder that women’s safety continues to be a pressing concern, and more needs to be done to protect them from these types of illegal activities.
