Update: Footage of the moment Adele scorned the concertgoer appears to show the individual shouting "work sucks" as opposed to "pride sucks".

Adele has once again made it clear why she is a beloved ally of the LGBTQ+ community, as she viciously shut down a concertgoer who shouted: "Pride sucks".

This month, your local area may be celebrating Pride Month with colorful parades and parties, as a means of not only celebrating LGBTQ+ people and their accomplishments, but also highlighting the issues they are still facing across the globe.

And one star who has frequently been hailed as an LGBTQ+ icon is the singer Adele, who dealt with a rude interruption during a performance at Las Vegas’ Colosseum in Caesars Palace.

During the June 1 show, an audience member yelled "Pride sucks" - seemingly forgetting whose gig they had paid to attend.

The 'Hello' singer's retort has since gone viral on social media, earning millions of views on X alone.

Immediately, Adele tells the person: “Did you come to my f***ing show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you f***ng stupid?"

The 36-year-old then said: "Don’t be so f****** ridiculous. If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, all right?”

Adele's response led to other concertgoers erupting with cheers and applause, and social media users quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate "Mother":

"And that’s why she’s mother," one person wrote, with a second adding: "Adele always speaks her mind, that's why I love her, she doesn't give [a f***]."

"To have ADELE of all people go off on you means you REALLY said something wrong. To be homophobic during pride month too is ridiculous. In the year of 2024 too. Smh," another X user responded to the video.

A fourth tweeted: "This solidified her as MOTHER."

It's not known exactly what happened to the heckler, but let's hope they sat there quietly for the rest of the gig and thought about what they did.

Adele's love of the LGBTQ+ community has extended throughout her career, with the singer once describing them as her "soul mates", per The Independent.

And in 2016, Adele dedicated an entire show to "everybody in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub" who was killed and injured in the June 12 shooting.
