A number of explosive claims were made during last year's conservatorship hearings, as Britney spoke out against her since-ousted conservator, her father Jamie Spears.

During proceedings, Britney the courts that she wanted to have a baby but was not permitted to remove her IUD, under the conservatorship.

"I was told right now in the conservatorship I am not able to get married or have a baby," she said, per The New York Times.

As part of her emotional address, she told the court: "I would like to progressively move forward and I want to have the real deal, I want to be able to get married and have a baby."

On April 11, Britney shared with her fans that she was pregnant, revealing in an Instagram post: "So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby."

Britney shares two sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston Federline, 16, and Jayden James Federline, 15.

Spears and Asghari first met on the set of a music video back in 2016.

After dating for several years, the two got engaged back in September, with the couple confirming the news in a series of Instagram snaps. In March, rumors circulated that the pair had gotten married after Spears referred to Asghari as her "husband" in several Instagram posts.
