In September 2023, Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness announced that they were ending their marriage after 27 years.
The couple, who met in 1995 on the set of the Australian TV series Corelli, share two kids, Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.
They released a statement about their separation, which read: "We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.

Before the couple's divorce, the Wolverine star was linked to Sutton Foster, his co-star in the 2022 revival of The Music Man.
Rumors amped up after blogger Tasha Lustig shared a video on Instagram claiming that the co-stars allegedly began a secret affair when they were on the Broadway show and married to their exes.
The post amassed 2.3 million views and received 26,554 likes - with one of those allegedly being from Furness, who reportedly “liked” it from her private account, according to US Weekly.
In the video, which was published in October, Lustig claimed that Jackman “blindsided” Furness by “running off with the mistress,” and suspected that the co-stars were planning to “soft launch” their relationship in the public eye soon.
Well, two months later, Jackman and Foster were spotted smiling and holding hands after a dinner date in Santa Monica, California, on Monday (January 7).
Jackman was pictured sporting a blue turtleneck shirt, a bomber jacket, white pants, and blue sneakers. Meanwhile, Foster is seen donning a long trench coat over a gray dress and black pointed-toe pumps.
One onlooker told Page Six that the couple was “walking hand in hand” right before the paparazzi “jumped out and took a few shots".
The new couple has gushed about each other in the press, with the 49-year-old actress - who filed for divorce from Ted Griffin - telling PEOPLE that Jackman is "an incredible costar," and noting that he is "one of the greatest guys ever".
During the pair's joint appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers to promote The Music Man in May 2022, Foster said: "The show is so joyful, and I’m having the time of my life playing opposite this guy."
The admiration was mutual, with the actor adding: "This is a six-time Tony nominee, two-time winner. Like, I saw her do Thoroughly Modern Millie when you were like four years old. But I’ve watched everything she's done. It’s amazing."
