Caitlyn Jenner has confirmed that she would support former President Donald Trump if he ran for office in 2024.
Jenner, who is running for governor of California as a Republican, shared her support of Trump - in the event that he does run again in three years' time - during an appearance on Fox News' Justice with Judge Jeanine.
During the interview, which took place on Saturday, July 17, the show's host Jeanine Pirro was keen to hear Jenner's stance on a possible re-run by Trump in 2024.
"Should Donald Trump run in 2024?" she asked the 71-year-old former Olympian, to which she responded: "That's his decision."
Pirro persisted, this time asking: "Would you support him if he did?"
Jenner answered: "If I was governor of the state of California, obviously, I would support him."
Pirro then asked: "What if you weren't governor? Would you still support him?"
Finally, Jenner confirmed once and for all: "Yes, I still would support him," adding: "I do not like what's happening in this country right now."
Throughout her campaign for governor, Jenner has often commented on her distaste for the status quo in California and the US as a whole.
From the outset, she remarked in a press release that announced her campaign: "For the past decade, we have seen the glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people."
She added: "As Californians, we face a now or never opportunity to fundamentally fix our state before it’s too late."
A number of people have since reacted to Jenner's perspective on Trump running for president once again in 2024.
One person wrote: "So, she hates that people are getting vaccinated (not fast enough, imo), the deficit came down in 6mos, jobs are up, world respected again, ending child poverty, trying to end all poverty, working to ensure everyones vote counts, truth is truth & facts are facts. She hates the USA. [sic]"
Another critic remarked: "Can’t give any specific examples as to 'what’s happening' she doesn’t like though."
"Someone PLEASE tell me why Caitlyn Jenner is in ANY way notable or politically knowledgeable/qualified to run for ANY public office?"

Caitlyn Jenner claims that she didn't bother voting in person during the 2020 Presidential Election.
According to CNN, Jenner, who is currently running against Gavin Newsom as governor of California, told news anchor Dana Bash in a recent interview that she skipped voting for Donald Trump in last year's elections to play golf instead.
Take a look at the CNN interview with Jenner in the video below:Jenner said: "I didn't even vote. Out here in California, it's like, why vote for a Republican president? It's just not going to work. I mean, it's overwhelming."
The 71-year-old former Olympic athlete, who famously voted for Trump in 2016, continued: "It was voting day and I thought the only thing out here in California that I worry about, which affects people, is the propositions that were out there.
"I didn't see any propositions that I really had one side or the other. And so it was Election Day and I just couldn't get excited about it. And I just wound up going to play golf and I said, 'I'm not doing that.'"
CNN reports confirm that Jenner only voted by mail on the ballot propositions, but she did not vote in the presidential race or other down-ballot races, according to her campaign official.
In the above interview, Jenner also expressed support for the reinstatement of the death penalty in the state, after Newsom imposed an official moratorium on executions in 2019.
Jenner first announced that she was running for the post of governor on April 23, sharing in a statement to her 3.5 million followers on Twitter: "I'm in! California is worth fighting for."
However, Jenner recently provoked controversy after claiming that her friends are leaving California over the sight of homeless people and sparked backlash for her opposition to trans women competing in female sports.
Speaking to Fox News, Jenner said: "My friends are leaving California. My hangar, the guy right across, was packing up his hangar and I said: 'where are you going?'
"He says: 'I'm moving to Sedona, Arizona, I can't take it here anymore. I can't walk down the streets and see the homeless'. I don’t want to leave, okay? Either I stay and fight, or I get out of here."
Per New York Times, Jenner rescinded support for the Trump Administration in 2018 - citing her rejection of a number of key Trump policies, such as his recently-reversed ban on transgender people serving in the military.

Caitlyn Jenner has announced that she is running for governor of California.
The 71-year-old's team confirmed the news to Axios, telling the outlet that she has filed her initial paperwork.
The former Olympic decathlete, who hopes to replace Democrat Gavin Newsom, has even launched her campaign website, Caitlyn for California.
On April 23, Jenner announced the news herself via her Twitter account, telling her 3.5 million followers: "I’m in! California is worth fighting for."
Included in the tweet was a press release, which reads: "California has been my home for nearly 50 years. I came here because I knew that anyone, regardless of their background or station in life, could turn their dreams into reality.
"But for the past decade, we have seen the glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people. Sacramento needs an honest leader with a clear vision."
The reality star, who is thought to be a Republican, added: "I have been a congressional disruptor throughout my life, from representing the United States and winning a gold medal at the Olympics to helping advance the movement of equality.
"As Californians, we face a now or never opportunity to fundamentally fix our state before it’s too late."
Jenner goes on to refer to herself as "a proven winner and the only outsider who can put an end to Gavin Newsom's disastrous time as governor."
She then promises to meet up with Californians from across the state to "hear their voices and finally get this state moving in the right direction."
According to Axios, the TV personality has put together a team of renowned GOP operatives including Tony Fabrizio, the top pollster on Donald Trump's 2016 and 2020 campaigns, Ryan Erwin, founder of RedRock Strategies, and Tyler Deaton, president of Allegiance Strategies.
The outlet also states that she has appointed Steven Cheung, a former Trump White House and campaign communications hand who previously worked on the successful 2003 recall campaign of actor-turned-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Rumors that Jenner was planning to run for office in California began circulating earlier this month.

Donald Trump has revealed that he's got his sights set on 2024.
The former president - who lost out on a second term in office to Joe Biden - said he is "100%" thinking of entering the presidential run in three years' time.
What's more, Trump has hinted that he could tap Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as his running mate this time around.
"Are you thinking about running again, Mr. President, in 2024?" Maria Bartiromo of Fox Business channel asked Trump in a call-in interview on Thursday (April 29).
Without hesitation, Trump responded: "Yes, 100 percent."
He added: "And the polls show that everybody wants me to do it. One hundred percent I'm thinking about running and we will, I think, be very successful."
It was then when Trump was asked about a potential running mate, and whether he's thinking of DeSantis for the job.
Trump - who now resides in Florida - responded: "Well he's a friend of mine. I endorsed Ron and after I endorsed him he took off as a rocket ship, he's done a great job as governor.
"A lot of people like that – you know, I'm just saying what I read and what you read – they love that ticket. But certainly, Ron would be considered, he's a great guy."
It comes as Trump said on Wednesday in a podcast interview for The Dan Bongino show that he will announce if he is running for president again after the 2022 midterm races.
The former president said of another presidential run: "So I'm giving it very serious consideration."
Claiming the polls are in his favor and are "very positive", he added: "Nobody's seen anything more positive."
He went on: "If you do it, I think probably the most appropriate time would be right after the '22 election, that's my opinion. Could do it sooner, but I think right after the election would be good, especially if you have a good election.
"Now I'm not sure if you didn't have a good election, I'm not sure that that wouldn't be good also, if you want to know the truth."
Trump loosely spoke last year of entering the presidential race.
Per Fox News, when asked about the possibility of running for office again, Trump stated that it would be important to first endorse the right supporters in Congress.
Trump claimed he was "all in" on behalf of Republican candidates in next year's midterm elections, and later stated:
"I've got tremendous numbers ... there is more popularity [for me] now than there was the day before the election. Because they see how bad things are at the border.
"They see what is going on, they see that their guns are gonna be gone ... their taxes are going up. Regulations are going through the roof. Job [losses] are going to go up.
"So I say this: I am looking at it very seriously. Beyond seriously. From a legal standpoint, I don’t want to really talk about it yet. It's a little too soon."

While the death penalty is a legal punishment in the state of California, executions have been halted since 2006 under a federal court order, according to BBC News,
Furthermore, Governor Gavin Newsom imposed an official moratorium on executions in 2019.

Caitlyn Jenner has revealed the reason why her daughters Kendall and Kylie have not commented on her campaign for governor of California.
It's been over a month since the 71-year-old reality star announced that she would be running for office in the Golden State.
Yet, Kendall and Kylie - two of the most influential women on the planet - have not publically acknowledged Caitlyn's newfound political aspirations. It turns out, though, there's actually a reason they've remained so tight-lipped.
Speaking to the hosts of CBS This Morning earlier this week, Caitlyn revealed that she specifically told Kendall, 25, and Kylie, 23, not to comment on her run for governor...
She said: "As we all know, politics can be a pretty tough business, OK? You know what? I've got pretty big shoulders and I can take it. People have come after me all my life and I had to just move on and do my own thing.
"But I did speak with all my children. I said. 'Hey, I do not want one tweet. This is my deal'."
The former Olympic decathlete added that she told her daughters "not to be involved whatsoever".
She continued: "I said if anybody asks any questions in the media - because obviously, they are in the media - I just said, say 'no comment,' address your comment to me."
Caitlyn announced her run for governor of California on April 23, telling her 3.5 million followers: "I’m in! California is worth fighting for."
Included in the tweet was a press release, which read: "California has been my home for nearly 50 years.
Caitlyn has recently come under fire for stating that trans girls should not compete in female sports as it would not be fair to the other competitors.
