A video of an elderly man walking behind Donald Trump has sparked rumors of a body double online.
You could spend days watching and reading about conspiracy theories surrounding the US President, and there are no signs of them slowing down.
Whether it be about the 80-year-old's health, his use of social media, or the long-awaited release of the Trump mobile phone, the public has numerous questions for Trump.
But upon the President's return from the World Cup final, where he once again stayed on stage during the trophy lift, a video of him speaking with the media has gone viral.
The clip shows an elderly man who looks strikingly similar to Trump, who is seen walking behind him, away from the camera.
Before anyone gets carried away, though, that man isn't a body double.
The video raised questions, but they can be answered just as quickly - the man caught on video is Viktor Knavs, the father of First Lady Melania Trump and Trump’s father-in-law.
Their similar appearance and walk could be attributed to the fact that Knavs is just two years older than Trump.
You'd be forgiven for mistaking them at first glance, especially with his swept-back hair, dark suit and familiar build similar to that of his son-in-law.
But the President has never hidden Knavs from the public, as he has been seen at several public and private functions over the years, including events held at Mar-a-Lago.
But the video didn't provide context, leaving viewers' minds to run amok, as there is no existing evidence to suggest that Knavs has ever acted as Trump's double.
This isn't the first time the men have been confused for one another, so it may be time for Trump to switch up his wardrobe to stop conspiracies from running wild.
Viewers couldn't believe it, with some claiming that world leaders have several body doubles and this should be common knowledge.
One claimed: "ALL world leaders have multiple body doubles," with another adding: "Omg…he walks with his head tilted forward the very same."
But others realised who it was early on, as a different user explained: "That’s Viktor Knavs, Melania Trump’s father. It does resemble him from certain angles."
A fourth added: "I think that may be Melania’s father. Weirdly."
Others started to speculate about whether world leaders such as Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu had body doubles, but as with most things on social media, these were claims made with no evidence.
Knavs may not be Trump's double after all, but they ought to walk further away from each other for the benefit of the US public, and to avoid the reminder that they are almost the same age.

Social media is once again ablaze with speculation about U.S. President Donald Trump’s health after his first public appearance in several days fueled fresh conspiracy theories.
The 79-year-old leader, who has often pushed back against rumors about his condition, is now facing online claims that he may be using a body double, or that he is in far worse health than his team admits.

On September 2, Trump called reporters to the Oval Office after a multi-day absence from the spotlight, according to The Guardian.
Paparazzi images of him leaving the White House soon began circulating online, and many observers zeroed in on his noticeably swollen face.
“Maybe it’s just me, but that doesn’t look like Trump at all,” one X (formerly Twitter) user posted. Another quipped, “Lol, that’s not Trump, that’s his stunt double.” A third worried: “Okay maybe he is dying.”
This is not the first time Trump has faced such rumors. Just months ago, he dismissed speculation that his wife, Melania Trump, was being impersonated at public events. Now, similar claims are being directed at him personally.
Height and 'body double' theories gain steam
The conspiracy chatter stretches back to June, when Trump appeared in a group photo at a NATO summit in the Netherlands. Standing beside King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands (6’2”) and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (just over 6’0”), Trump (who has long been listed as 6’3”) appeared slightly shorter than expected.
“Obviously not the real one. Not tall enough,” one user wrote at the time. Another remarked: “When I saw a video from earlier today, I was wondering why he was so much shorter.”
Experts say the explanation is far simpler: posture, footwear, or simply the perception of height when standing among other tall leaders. Still, such details continue to fuel online debates about whether the president is truly the man in the photos.
Trump pushes back on health speculation
Trump has been quick to deny any suggestion that he is unwell. Taking to Truth Social, he posted: “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE. Also, DC IS A CRIME FREE ZONE! President DJT.”
The message came in response to a supporter who accused the media of applying a double standard between Trump and President Joe Biden when it comes to public appearances.
Adding to the swirl of rumors, Vice President JD Vance recently commented that he was prepared to step in “if anything catastrophic happened,” per The Telegraph. Still, he insisted Trump remains in “incredibly good health” and has “incredible energy,” often working later into the night and earlier in the morning than many younger staffers.
Despite these reassurances, speculation about Trump’s health, and the bizarre body double theories, shows no sign of slowing down online.

Ryan Garcia has shared new photos that he allegedly took with Donald Trump, and most people can't quite get their heads around it.
The image, capturing a moment between Garcia and Trump at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, has ignited a flurry of speculation about the former president's appearance.
In the photo shared on Instagram, Trump, at 77, appears remarkably youthful.
Either he's got a brand new skincare routine, or there's something fishy going on here.
Garcia's Instagram caption simply reads 'AMERICA,' but it was enough to set off a storm of theories.
People's thoughts ranged from plastic surgery, to a body double - with some even suggesting that Garcia was posing with a wax figure of Trump.
"That’s a 45 year old Trump stunt double," one person said, while a second added: "I’ve met Ryan and I’ve met Trump. That’s Ryan but that ain’t Trump. Trump is way taller than that. Wow."
In fairness, Garcia measures 5”8 and Trump is 6”2... so it's a bit weird that in the photo they appear to be similar in height.
A third person said on X: "Either this is one of his many body doubles or Trump is really starting to get that ozempic face..."
While a second agreed with their Ozempic theory, stating: "This is deeply cringe also did trump start using ozempic?"
This isn't the first time Garcia has showcased his encounters with Trump on social media. Just a day before, he tweeted about meeting the former president and even remarked on Trump's son Barron's height.
The viral photo has reignited longstanding rumors about Trump's potential cosmetic procedures. Despite never publicly confirming any surgeries, whispers about his appearance have persisted for years, per the Metro.
From allegations of scalp reduction surgery in the past to speculation about hair transplants, Trump's physical changes have long been a subject of fascination.
Regardless of your political leaning, we can all agree that Trump enjoys a spray tan.
Regardless of the speculation, Trump has remained silent on the matter. His camp has yet to address the photo, leaving curious observers to continue pondering the mysteries behind the viral snapshot.
If he has had cosmetic surgery, then it'll be at odds with his opinions on it in the past, as he once blasted TV news anchor Mika Brzezinski, saying she was "bleeding badly from a face lift."
He also hit out at Joe Biden's decision to wear a mask during the pandemic, stating: "I mean, honestly, what the hell did he spend all that money on the plastic surgery (for) if he is going to cover it up."

Donald Trump has raised further questions about his health after appearing to stand in an unusual position while addressing reporters.
The US president was speaking to the press after stepping off Air Force One in Phoenix on Friday when cameras captured the moment.
The 79-year-old was seen with his feet spread unusually wide apart, extending beyond shoulder width in an inverted V-shape, while his arms remained stiffly by his sides.
A photo of the stance quickly spread across social media, with users on platforms like X speculating about what might be behind it, with some thinking it may be suggestive of a health matter.
Some suggested it could point to physical or cognitive issues. One user claimed: “Because he’s losing his coordination so he’s standing this way to keep from falling. Watch how he can’t walk in a straight line most of the time either,” while another asked: “Yo, why he stand like that? Is he losing his balance or equilibrium because of some kind of loss of functional brain control?” A third bluntly wrote: “Dementia posturing.”
Others floated different theories, including the possibility of supportive equipment. “He wears some type of leg/hip braces, I swear,” one person said, while another added: “Looks like his leg braces are malfunctioning again.” A further comment joked: “It eases the pain in his cankles to stand like a tripod.”
Not everyone focused on the stance itself, with some pointing out an awkward detail in the image instead. “That microphone placement is - um - unfortunate,” one user remarked.
Despite the online speculation circulating, the White House has repeatedly rejected claims that Donald Trump is experiencing any cognitive issues, maintaining that he remains in “excellent” health, with the American leader himself even coming out and claiming that recent MRI and cognitive tests were “perfect”.
During the same appearance, Trump addressed ongoing geopolitical matters, particularly in the Middle East, saying: “Talks are going on and will go on over the weekend and a lot of good things are happening.”
Responding to concerns about tensions with Iran, he added: “Well there could be, if there are we'll have to straighten it out but I don't think there's too many significant differences.”
He also stated: “As soon as the agreement is signed, that's when the blockade ends,” and later claimed on Truth Social that Iran had reopened the Strait of Hormuz — though reports soon emerged that restrictions had been reinstated.
Iran’s leadership responded with a warning, as Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said the country’s “valiant navy” was “ready to inflict new bitter defeats on its enemies.”
