Jeffrey Epstein’s brother has responded to explosive online claims involving POTUS Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton after a new batch of Epstein-related documents and images was released by the Department of Justice.
The release, ordered under a congressional mandate, included thousands of previously sealed files and photographs tied to the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender.
Among the images were photos showing Epstein alongside Trump, Ghislaine Maxwell, and an unidentified, blurred woman in a swimming pool.
The images quickly went viral, reigniting fierce political debate and speculation across social media.
Alongside the photographs, attention also focused on a bizarre email exchange between Epstein and his brother, Mark Epstein, which appeared in earlier document dumps but resurfaced amid the renewed scrutiny.
The “Bubba” email that ignited speculation
The email, dated March 2018, showed Mark Epstein encouraging his brother to ask former Trump adviser Steve Bannon whether Russian President Vladimir Putin possessed compromising material on Trump. Specifically, Mark referenced “photos of Trump blowing Bubba.”
Jeffrey Epstein replied with a brief, sarcastic message: “and I thought – I had tsuris,” using the Yiddish word for troubles.
Once the email circulated publicly, online users immediately began dissecting the reference to “Bubba.”
The nickname is widely associated with former President Bill Clinton, who, like Trump, had social ties to Epstein.
That connection fueled a wave of memes, jokes, and theories suggesting the remark could be an allegation involving Clinton.
Mark Epstein denies Clinton connection
As speculation intensified, Mark Epstein issued a public clarification aimed at shutting down the rumor mill.
In a statement shared by Business Insider reporter Jacob Shamsian, he insisted the reference had nothing to do with Bill Clinton.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the reference to ‘Bubba’ in this correspondence is not, in any way, a reference to former President Bill Clinton,” Mark Epstein said.
He described the email exchange as part of a private, humorous conversation between brothers and said online interpretations had completely misrepresented the tone and intent of the message.
Mystery remains despite clarification
While Mark Epstein firmly denied any connection to Clinton, he did not clarify who “Bubba” was referring to, leaving the identity unresolved.
As a result, speculation has continued online, with some dismissing the email as dark humor and others viewing it as another unsettling piece of the Epstein puzzle.
The renewed attention underscores how each new release from the Epstein archives continues to spark questions about his connections, influence, and the many unanswered details surrounding his life and relationships with powerful figures.
