Man who 'met Jesus' in coma reveals only image of Christ he says is accurate
A man who claims he ‘met Jesus’ during a coma has revealed the only true picture of Christ that he believes to be accurate.
Gabe Poirot was in a coma for 18 days and during that time he believes he went to heaven and back, quite literally.
Gabe Poirot has a fascinating story - if you believe it
The then 20-year-old suffered a traumatic brain injury after hitting an object in the road while riding along on his skateboard.
He crashed off the board and hit his head on the sidewalk, leaving him in a bad way.
That was back in October 2021, and Gabe spent the next 18 days in a coma.
It wasn’t all wasted time though, as he claims he went upstairs to heaven and met Jesus, even remembering enough to be able to describe what he looks like.
He then later discussed his experience on The Lila Rose Show.
So, what does the face of Jesus Christ look like?
Gabe Poirot’s experience with Jesus Christ
Gabe described the moment he ‘ascended into heaven’ and found himself ‘face to face’ with Jesus.
“He was about 5’11 or six feet tall,” Gabe remembered.
What’s more - and to clear up a hot topic - he said that JC had ‘darker-toned skin’ and was ‘close to Middle Eastern’.
Given the area that Jesus was supposedly from, you could probably go even further than that.
He had medium-length hair, which was pretty curly, and was in his early thirties - around 33, you might say.
His hair was ‘not super curly’ or ‘flamboyant’ though.
Crucially, he claims that the images that we have of Jesus are apparently all wrong, and there is ‘no image that you can hold in your hands that does him justice’.
However, there is one item that comes close.
It’s not a dashboard bobblehead, or anything in a church, but the Shroud of Turin.
Gabe claims that is the ‘most accurate’ representation of Jesus Christ that he knows of.
At least, Jesus as he knows him from his coma, anyway.
The Shroud of Turin is a truly mysterious religious artefact
The Shroud is believed by some to be the linen cloth that Jesus was wrapped in after he was brought down from the cross.
It bears the image of a man on it, and many believe it to be the face of Jesus of Nazareth.
Gabe is one of those believers.
"The Shroud of Turin is a cloth yet it's not just a cloth,” he said.
"It represents the supernatural light of Christ. Because the light of Christ touched that cloth and so I love the Shroud of Turin.”
Even though he says it still can’t ‘do Him justice’, Gabe says the outlined image ‘generally matches’ that of what he saw.
He explained: "A cloth can't do him justice - but I would say it does better than others.”
What does heaven look like?
According to Gabe, when he went up to heaven he found things a bit difficult to parse.
When asked what it was like and what the people were like, he responded: “Honestly, I don’t know - but there’s only beauty in heaven.
“There’s only glory, there’s no death of decay.
"With that, I would conclude that there is no age in heaven. It's beauty.”
As for the houses, again he was a bit unsure, but said: "The houses, the buildings, the monuments, they only speak of Him.”
As for what Jesus told him during his experience, he says that he had one question: "When Jesus looked at me, he picked up my face, and he said 'Gabriel, why are you concerned about that which has been paid for?'"
It's definitely an interesting story, whether you believe in Jesus or not.
There's certainly more to life than we know about.
