Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are definitely couple goals, and they proved it once again when they gave the perfect response to unfounded breakup rumours.
Kunis and Kutcher, who have been married since 2015 and have two kids together, took to Instagram to share that they were just as surprised as we were to learn that they were breaking up, and recorded their reactions on Instagram.
It's pretty funny, to say the least:
[[jwplayerwidget||https://content.jwplatform.com/videos/coAWJnWt-sKUnNGKf.mp4||coAWJnWt]]
All Kunis had was a cover image of the story - sent to her by a friend - but it was enough to send this couple into a frenzy.
"It's over between us," she said solemnly into the camera, and Kutcher replied: "Oh my god, what are we gonna do?" From there, the couple riffed on the kind of phrases the tabloid cover used. "You felt suffocated by me?" Ashton queried. "I was just so overbearing, wasn’t I?"
From there on, it was confirmed that not only had a "huge secret" been revealed about Kutcher ("It must have been really dark," mused Kutcher), but that Kunis was also taking the kids.
Look, folks, despite the constant precariousness of celebrity couplings, it looks as if Mila and Ashton are going to be together for a while. "I have the world’s greatest husband," said Kunis to E! News last year.
"I swear, I got very lucky, man," she revealed, pouring cold water on the notion of any kind of split. "I got a man that has got a lot of patience and is incredibly supportive of our family."
Well, if there are any celebrity couples out there looking for a way to quell tabloid rumours while still maintaining their dignity, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are - once again - couple goals: hilarious, to the point, and clearly able to have fun. Is there anything they can't do? I would say something snarky like "help to stop child trafficking", but... they actually already did that. Damn.

In an excellent example of life imitating art, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are happily married with two children. The pair met on the set of That '70s Show, when Kunis was just 14-years-old, and while their roles featured a romantic plot-line, the five-year age gap between them was a mile wide. Kunis proceeded to date fellow actor, Macaulay Culkin, for nine years, and Kutcher married Demi Moore back in 2005.
But almost 20 years after they first met, Kunis and Kutcher have proven that they were fated to be together all along - after what started out as "friends with benefits" blossomed into something more...
Now, the mum-of-two has opened up about how she "f*cked up" her relationship with Macaulay Culkin, and also dished on her husband's divorce from Demi Moore.
Speaking to actor and host of the Armchair Expert podcast, Dax Shepard, Kunis spoke candidly about certain aspects of her private life.
She began by telling Shepard how she informed her mother, Elvira, that she was dating her former costar, Ashton Kutcher. "We were driving up Laurel Canyon, and I was like, 'Mom I have to tell you I’m dating somebody,"' she said. "And she was like, "Oh tell me! Who are you dating?" And I was like, "You’ve got to brace yourself for this one… I’m dating Ashton Kutcher."
"And she literally was like, 'Shut the f*** up' in Russian."
The Black Swan actress suspected that the negative press surrounding Kutcher's divorce from Demi Moore may have had something to do with her mum's initial reaction. "He was coming off of a divorce. He was post, post, post, way post-divorce, but I think there was a lot of misconceptions about the divorce," she asserted.
Kunis also opened up about her relationship with Macaulay Culkin, whom she started dating back in 2002. "I had a horrible breakup. I had a horrible, horrible, horrible breakup," she said of the Home Alone actor. "I f*cked up. I was an a**hole in my 20s and I'll be the first to admit it."
"And that's kinda something that took me a long time to come out and be like, "Yeah, you know what, I was a d**k," and accept it and I own it. It's f*cked up what I did. It's f*cked up what I did, and it's f*cked up how I did it," she continued.
Kunis, however, didn't elaborate on how exactly she'd wronged Culkin.
The actress has previously said that she did her best to protect her and Culkin's privacy when they were an item. "We don't talk about it to the press. It's already more high profile than I want it to be," she stated in an interview. "I keep my personal life as personal as I physically, mentally, possibly can. I don't care. I will go to my grave trying. It is hard, but I'll end up going to a bar that's a hole in the wall. I won't go to the 'it's-happening' place."
Kunis and Kutcher became involved in April of 2012, following the actor's divorce from his wife of six years, Moore.
They married in 2015 and share two children together - a three-year-old daughter, Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher, and a one-year-old son, Dimitri Portwood Kutcher.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are one of the purest couples in Hollywood, and it's safe to say that their fans would be devastated if they ever broke up. Sadly, that hasn't stopped certain publications from speculating that things between the former That 70s Show castmembers are currently a little bit rocky at the moment.
Although this speculation appears to be unfounded, it hasn't stopped people from panicking. But this week the couple put those fears to bed by responding to the tittle-tattle in a hilarious Instagram video, which you can check out for yourself below.
This really is the best response to a celebrity rumor, EVER:

In the video, Kutcher namedrops InTouch (the alleged instigators of the breakup story) in his caption of the video, writing: "I guess it’s over @intouchweekly have fun selling magazines this week. Maybe next week my wife will be having twins. For the third time. But who’s counting?"
In the video itself, Mila Kunis can be seen holding up a screenshot of the supposedly-fabricated cover story on her phone. Ashton asks: "Babe, what’s happening? What’s going on?" and Mila responds: "It’s over between us."
Quoting the article, Mila explains that: "I felt suffocated," Kunis stated, while Ashton states: "Oh, you took the kids. I don’t get the kids anymore?" Mila states that the reason she's breaking up with Ashton is because of a 'dark secret' - which neither party knows anything about.

A number of celebrities responded to the footage, which currently boasts over 1 million views so far. For example, Demi Lovato commented: "This is amazing. Miss y’all ?," while Kristen Bell's spouse Dax Shepard commented: "DAMNIT! I was gonna take a run at MK! I want a refund!"
Indeed, if anyone knows about relationship goals, it's Dax. He and Kristen have been happily married for 12 years now, so don't worry guys. I wouldn't take this seemingly-thirsty message too seriously (at least, we hope Kristen doesn't!)

These days, it's fairly well known that Mila Kunis is shacked up with Ashton Kutcher. The couple got married back in 2015, have two children together, and - as far as either of them gives away - appear to be perfectly happy with one another.
Before they became an item, however, both Kunis and Kutcher were in fairly high-profile relationships. Kutcher, of course, was married to Demi Moore between 2005 and 2013; meanwhile, Kunis dated Macaulay Culkin for about seven to nine years in the 2000s.
However, as she spoke about recently, the Black Swan actress didn't end things all that amicably with her former beau.
"I had a horrible breakup. I had a horrible, horrible, horrible breakup," Kunis said of her split from the Home Alone actor.
"I f**ked up. I was an a**hole in my 20s and I'll be the first to admit it.
"And that's kinda something that took me a long time to come out and be like, 'Yeah, you know what, I was a d**k,' and accept it and I own it. It's f**ked up what I did. It's f**ked up what I did, and it's f**ked up how I did it."
Though she didn't elaborate on exactly how she ended her commitment to Culkin, Kunis has since revealed a few more details about their relationship - including how the pair of them feel about one another today. On an episode of the WTF With Marc Maron podcast, she confessed that they still haven't really "moved forward" from how they were when they ended things.
[[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/BloJ-OBnngz/?hl=en&taken-by=kunismilax]]
"[We’re] probably not as friendly as we could be, no," she admitted. "There are too many aspects of it that just prevented us from ever moving forward [from the] past. We dated from when I was, like, 18, 19 until 25ish."
And that's not really a surprise, given that Kunis essentially confessed to breaking up in a particularly brutal way. What's more, she's already previously stated that she and Culkin do not like revisiting that time of their lives - especially not in interviews.
"We don't talk about it to the press. It's already more high profile than I want it to be," she stated. "I keep my personal life as personal as I physically, mentally, possibly can. I don't care. I will go to my grave trying. It is hard, but I'll end up going to a bar that's a hole in the wall. I won't go to the 'it's-happening' place."
And yet, at the same time, Kunis said that her and Culkin's friends have gotten over whatever issue it was that drove them apart.
"You know, it’s been so long like I feel like enough time has gone by," Kunis said. "I think enough mutual friends have been like, everybody kind of forgave everybody for what went down."
So, while they may not be the best of friends anymore, it seems that Culkin and Kunis have been mature enough to move on from their relationship and leave their differences in the past. It might seem a shame that the two couldn't have remained close - but, by the sounds of it - it was probably for the best.

Demi Moore opened up about her past relationship with Ashton Kutcher, including allegations of infidelity and threesomes, in her explosive memoir, Inside Out.
When the 63-year-old Substance star released the book in 2019, she pulled back the curtains on her six-year marriage to the 48-year-old That '70s Star and the struggles she says unfolded behind closed doors.
The pair began dating in 2003, quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples, largely due to their 16-year age gap.
They married in 2005 and were together for six years before separating in 2011. Their divorce was finalized in 2013.
In the Ghost actress' book, she admitted to agreeing to Kutcher’s requests for threesomes - a decision she later characterized as a "mistake."
“I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be,” Moore wrote, adding that the experiences later served as a defense for Kutcher’s alleged infidelity.
“Because we had brought a third party into our relationship, Ashton said, that blurred the lines and, to some extent, justified what he’d done," she added.
While Kutcher has never publicly addressed the claims, he reflected on the impact of Moore’s book during a 2023 interview with Esquire, saying: “I’d finally gotten to a place where the press had really laid off me and [wife Mila Kunis], and my life and my family. And then the next day, [the paparazzi] are at my kids’ school.”
He stopped himself mid-thought and added, “I don’t want to open anything up in that realm.”
Kutcher was just 26 years old when he took on the role of stepfather to Demi Moore’s three daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis, whom she shares with Bruce Willis.
Reflecting on that period, he later said: “I was twenty-six, bearing the responsibility of an eight-year-old, a ten-year-old, and a twelve-year-old. That’s how some teen parents must experience their twenties."
Even after the renewed attention sparked by the release of Moore’s memoir, the Two and a Half Men actor has spoken warmly about his bond with the girls.
Speaking on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast, he said: "I’m never going to stop loving them and respecting them... I was never trying to be their father. I always had respect and honoured Bruce [Willis]."
That feeling appears to be mutual as Tallulah, now 31, drew attention after commenting on a Gwyneth Paltrow post about step-parenting, saying she had "a lot to say" about navigating a relationship with an ex-step-parent.
When a fan asked if she was referring to Kutcher, she admitted: “This maybe should have been a private message lol but yes I have personal experience with this.”
Tallulah then clarified that she wasn’t trying to stir up drama and emphasized the importance of healing without blame: “No one needs to be a bad guy for a situation to be healed. There’s room for everyone.”
Scout also addressed the moment during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “She made a rare comment about stepdad Ashton Kutcher, and she said no one has to be the bad guy," ET’s Cassie DiLaura noted.
Scout responded, “No, and I don’t think so. That’s not the way I hold it [or] my mom holds it."
"I think, since my parents divorced when I was young, it’s always been handled with absolute grace and love, and I think that really is the way forward for everything. It’s just like putting the children first and just handling everything with a lot of mutual respect," she added.
Kutcher is now married to his former That '70s Show co-star Mila Kunis, and the couple shares two children.
Moore has not remarried since their divorce, though she was previously married to Freddy Moore and later to Willis.
