Britney Spears' husband, Sam Asghari, has hit back at the speculation that his marriage to the singer is in trouble.
The 29-year-old Hot Seat actor has been married to the 41-year-old 'Toxic' hitmaker since last summer, but recently eagle-eyed fans spotted the pair without their wedding rings.
The rumors became further fueled after Spears shared on her social media that she is currently on vacation with her close friend and manager, Cade Hudson - while Asghari has been left behind.
Upon seeing the media reports, the model took to his social media to set the record straight.
Asghari responded to the assumptions about his marriage by posting a picture of himself at the gym, clutching a bench bar with his wedding band clearly in view for the camera.
And in a subsequent image, he posted himself sitting in the window seat of an airplane, with his hand towards the side of his face displaying that his ring is firmly kept on.
In addition to this, Page Six reported that the actor's rep, Brandon Cohen, confirmed that his client is not having marital problems with the 'Baby One More Time' songstress.
The BAC Talent publicist added that Asghari only took off his band because he is currently filming a movie. However, the pop star herself and her team have not spoken out against the speculation.
The couple tied the knot in a star-studded wedding at the 'Oops! I Did It Again' singer’s home in California in June 2022 and since then, they have had to shut down several misinterpretations about their romance.
Last December, Asghari was bombarded with questions by concerned fans after Spears deactivated her Instagram. Several users on the platform alleged that he "controls" her so he slammed the accusations in a statement.
He wrote that the platform can be "traumatizing" for the musician and asked fans to be careful of being "overprotective" of his wife. And, in another slide, he revealed that Spears doesn't attend red carpets with him because it's too "hectic" for her.
"I've always respected and supported her privacy with everything I've had. I ask of you supportive and protective fans to do the same," he said, adding, "Sometimes being overprotective can cause more stress and damage."
Furthermore, the former personal trainer joked with TMZ at the time that he understands why Spears' "good fans" have made assumptions about his role in her life.
"No, I don’t even control what we have for dinner," he quipped to the outlet. "You know, in the past, there has been a lot of stuff going on, so I understand where [fans are] coming from. They’re just being protective. If anything, they’re being good fans."
