Britney Spears has posted several nude photos to her Instagram page, sparking a new wave of concern for the singer.
On December 15, the 41-year-old singer - who recently worried fans after deactivating her social media page - shared a series of topless pictures that have since been deleted.
In the now-deleted nude pictures, either the 'Baby One More Time' singer's hands or hair were covering her breasts or she strategically placed graphics of flowers and lips.
After posting the revealing snaps, many users took to the site to comment on them. Spears' 28-year-old husband, Sam Asghari, also shared his opinion and said that while he doesn't personally like the posts - he defends her right to express herself.
Check out Asghari's comment below:Asghari - who got engaged to Spears in September 2021 and officially tied the knot with her in June 2022 - said in the now-deleted comment and post: "The only person in the world that gets bullied for posting things like this."
"I personally prefer she never posted these, but who am I to control someone that’s been under a microscope and been controlled their whole life," he added - referring to the 13-year conservatorship Spears was under up until last November.
According to the Daily Mail, the comment was written under Spears' lengthily-captioned post, where she told her followers that "traveling and seeing the world" was a way to find peace in one's mental health, and that while she lives in Los Angeles, she is more comfortable when traveling abroad.
The outlet reported that the 'Toxic' singer also remarked on the impact of technology when posed against nature, saying that "as we all look down on our high tech phones today to find purpose and connect with this thing called Earth ... never forget where you came from".
"And know s****ing in a field with Mother Nature is one of the best connections there is!!! Cause you finally expose your A** to the world!!!" she bizarrely added.
Ashgari's defense also comes after he was questioned by fans - who are concerned about Spears' welfare - about why the singer quit Instagram earlier this month.
After the 'Piece Of Me' hitmaker shared a now-deleted post gushing about her estranged sister Jamie Lynn Spears, her followers speculated that the post was actually sent by someone else because she had been publicly feuding with Jamie Lynn.
Due to this, Spears' curious fans bombarded Asghari with questions to which the fitness model then took to his Instagram Story to quickly shut down allegations that he "controls" her page and shared the heartbreaking reason why she deactivated.
In a statement shared on his social media page, Asghari said the platform can be "traumatizing" for the musician and asked fans to be careful of being "overprotective" of his wife.
In another slide, he revealed that Spears doesn't attend red carpets with him because it's too "hectic" for her.
"I've always respected and supported her privacy with everything I've had. I ask of you supportive and protective fans to do the same," he said, adding, "Sometimes being overprotective can cause more stress and damage."
