We've all been there, haven't we?

Bored of the same old stale haircut reflecting back at you from the mirror each and every morning, you decide it's time for a change.

Haircuts, though, have a huge bearing on one's physical appearance, and thus getting them right is an important ritual for many, and changing the norm is a bold decision to make. Personally, the most I tend to change is the grade on the back and sides, so panicked am I about the potential ramifications of fudging a new style.

Adam Levine, apparently, has no such qualms.

Check out Millie Bobby Brown's incredible rap performance at a Maroon 5 show:

Perhaps that's because, let's face it, he's an extraordinarily good looking man, and thus has the confidence and self-belief to feel he can pull off whatever damn hairstyle he likes.

In any case, it's lead us to this point; Adam Levine, singer of Maroon 5 and former coach on The Voice, has shaved his head and got cornrows.

What's that? You don't believe me. Well here's the proof.

Levine, of course, is no stranger to trying out a whole host of different hairstyles. The Maroon 5 singer debuted a mohawk back in April for season 16 of The Voice, which, it's fair to say, divided opinion among his many fans.

The singer is not returning as a coach on season 17 of the NBC show, the network previously confirmed in a tweet.

"Our friend and coach Adam Levine made the decision not to return next season," reads the message, "We're going to miss Adam, but The Voice is family and with family it's 'see you soon,' never 'goodbye.'"

On Monday, the singer took to Instagram to post an image in celebration of his daughter, Dusty's, birthday.
