A woman has opened up on the realities of cosmetic surgeries after spending six figures on work over the years.
The adult actress and OnlyFans model has revealed the regrets she has over having numerous body enhancements over the years, which she claims have totaled approximately $100,000.
Alix Lynx, 37, described herself as a 'human guinea pig' due to the sheer amount of work she has had done over the years to keep herself present with ever-changing beauty standards.
But upon reflection, the adult star said that she would have avoided some of the doctors she initially chose for her procedures.
That's not all, though the star revealed to the Daily Mail that she has had three breast enhancements, two nose jobs, and upper blepharoplasty (removing excess skin or fat from the eyelids).
The adult star admitted to the publication: "If you're going to take the time and effort to get a procedure done... I would strongly advise splurging a little more and going to a specialist."
"In a perfect world, I'd only be on my second pair of breasts, which is because I choose to replace them once every 10 years," Lynx explained.
"It makes me feel safe, though I know some people have implants for 20 years; that's not my preference. But even then, I would have had fewer procedures overall."
She recalled seeing a random plastic surgeon, instead of doing her research to find a specialist, which could cost her in the long run.
She admitted that 'a specialist has more clocked-in hours doing that specific procedure', which could save you a headache in the future.
The adult actress pointed out that filler can easily be botched when 'cheaper' types are used.
"A mistake people make is that, yes, this stuff is expensive, but you do, to a degree, get what you pay for," Lynx said.
"I wouldn't go to a random general physician's office that just happens to do filler."
It's a no-brainer when it comes to medical procedures - taking your time to find the best solution and not rushing is important.
The adult star said she wishes she didn't get nose filler done, as she initially thought it was a 'non-invasive alternative to a nose job.'
But over time, she noticed that you 'keep getting the filler, and over time, [and] it distorts the shape of your nose'.
Lynx said that a nose job is the better choice, as the filler method would set her back around $800 per syringe, which multiplies over time, while a nose job would involve one upfront payment.
She did have a nose job back in 2011, though, as it had been 'broken a few times and it was incredibly crooked and big', disrupting her breathing.
After seeing a plastic surgeon, she reflected: "He did a fine job, but looking back, I would have gone to a specialist, and because then I wouldn't have needed a revision."
Lynx spent $32,000 on a rhinoplasty revision last year, after already spending $10,000 on an upper blepharoplasty in 2024.
Following her first breast augmentation in 2012, she had two more in 2016 and 2022 after complications, which cost her around $30,000 in the end.
