Drake has issued an apology for comments made on a previous Future collaboration track, which was leaked unintentionally on Wednesday.
In the track, Future - who is also known as Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn - calls Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, Kylie Jenner, a "side piece".
Drake has since taken to his Instagram Stories to issue an apology, and to explain that he does not want any of his friends to feel "disrespected".
“A song that Mark ran last night on Night Owl sound live set shouldn't have been played,” Drake wrote on his Instagram Stories yesterday.
It's a song that leaked three years ago and got scrapped shortly after. He was just going too deep in the drake/future catalogue. Last thing I'd want to do is wake up having any friends of mine feeling disrespected so I just had to stay that to start off the day [sic]", he continued.
"Yeah, I'm a hater to society / Real s***, Kylie Jenner, that's a side piece / Yeah, I got 20 motherf*****s' Kylies," Future raps in the leaked song.
Drake then name-checks Kylie's older sister, Kendall Jenner, rapping "Yeah, I got 20 damn Kendalls / Young slim baddies and they in Vogue / Yeah, I got 20 f***ing Gigis."

Back in March, Drake incited the ire of his fans by calling Sophie Brussaux, the mother of his two-year-old son, Adonis, a "fluke".
On his song "Say When", the rapper asserts: "Baby mama fluke, but I love her for who she is."
Fans took to social media to express their thoughts on the apparently dismissive lyric, with one user writing; "Drake is rude as hell … [she] has never said anything bad about you…and she’s a fluke?! He needs to be slapped!"
