An ex-Boy Meets World star has revealed all about her new career in the adult industry, including her husband's involvement.
Maitland Ward made a name for herself in the late 1990s and 2000s after her breakout role as Rachel McGuire in seasons six and seven of the Disney show.
She would also make appearances in Dish Dogs and White Chicks as part of a respectable career in the TV and film industry, before pivoting to making riskier media.
While the 49-year-old has opened up on some former Disney co-stars being supportive of her new venture, many have distanced themselves from her.
Since 2019, Ward has been a part of the adult industry, featured in several pornographic films while also posting explicit snaps of herself on social media.
Ward, who has previously spoken about difficult conversations with her husband before moving into the industry, said he was "very supportive" in the end.
But in an appearance on Ryan Sickler's The Honeydew podcast, she spoke about how she managed to transition into adult content.
Focusing specifically about her first scene with a man, she said her husband was there, explaining: "The first time I actually had full sex on camera with a guy was with a British guy, a great guy.
"If it wouldn't have gone so well with him cause he was just funny, because my husband and him were talking beforehand."
She then revealed: "We had a hotel room and then the other girl came, she was part of the first time."
Ward was asked about how many people were on the shoot, and she revealed: "Nobody. Just actually, my husband, actually he did Snapchats and stuff. So it was just like one."
She said it was "just content," adding: "I think people were kind of surprised, my content buyers were like 'whoa, she's gone all the way now.'"
Ward explained that she had been "very sheltered" when she was young, and that there "were things I really wanted to try and do."
One of these things seemed to be a venture into the adult industry, though she clarified: "In this adult space, first of all, you're tested for any STDs, all the time. You're with professionals. You're in a setup that you've okayed and consented on, and made the rules and everything."
The adult actress revealed that you can put restrictions in, as the host listed: "Ahead of time you're like, 'can't c*m in me, can't smack my face,' so you lay out all your rules out."
"That's how it is with any porn scene," Ward said.
She added: "Yeah, you have to have all the consent and all the nos and yeses, and these things are more money," Ward pointed out, confirming that things like an anal sex scene would pay more.
