If there's one person out there who should really care about plastic pollution, it's Jason Momoa. The Game of Thrones actor famously portrayed the superhero Aquaman in the Justice League movie and in his own standalone film, and it seems as though Jason takes his on-screen job as the king of Atlantis seriously... maybe a little too seriously.
Watch Jason Momoa flex his muscles for charity:This week, after he spotted fellow superhero Chris Pratt drinking from a plastic water bottle while announcing his collaboration with Amazon, Momoa took the comments to criticize him for drinking from something that could pollute the planet's oceans.
Pratt captioned his latest advertised post: "You’re probably wondering why I’m standing here, low key flexing, gazing into the distance... well, turns out I'm teaming up with @amazon to show you guys everything I use for my workouts, keeping active, and all that fun stuff to get you prepped for 2020."
But Momoa simply wasn't interested in hearing about the Guardians Of The Galaxy actor's latest venture, and instead called him out on his plastic use, typing: "bro i love u but wtf on the water bottle. no single use plastic. come on. [sic]"
Chris Pratt famously shared an incredible behind-the-scenes look at the set of Avengers: Endgame:Ever the gentleman, Pratt replied contritely: "Aquaman! You’re completely right. Dammit. I always carry my big gallon size reusable water jug around with me too. I even had it that day!!! If I remember correctly somebody threw that plastic bottle to me in the photo shoot cause I didn’t know what to do with my hands! [sic]"

He added: "I never know what to do with my hands! So uncomfortable. For real tho. Love you too buddy. My bad. I don’t want your home of Atlantis covered in plastic. Hear that kids? Reduce. Reuse. Recycle."
However, Jason later appeared to have a change of heart about the call-out and apologized to his friend Pratt for the shaming. He posted a pic of the two of them together and wrote: "BRO you know my children and I are madly in love with you and I love everything you do."
"I’m sorry this was received so badly today I didn’t mean for that to happen. I’m just very passionate about this single-use plastic epidemic. The plastic water bottles have to stop I hope u make a reusable water bottle for amazon so we all can purchase. You’re an inspiration to many I’m one of them. I’ll send you a case of MANANALU. All my Aloha, Da Momoa’s [sic]."

To be fair, Jason is currently the United Nations Advocate For Oceans, so perhaps its only fair that he shows concern over plastic pollution. But still, maybe a private message would have been the best way to deal with this issue.
But Momoa has also recently been called out for being unethical, as earlier this year he shared a video of himself posing with a bear while on set. Check it out below:
