Kate Beckinsale found a hilarious way to celebrate her 47th birthday.

Kate celebrated her big day by doing some Dirty Dancing with her cat, Clive, who could give Grumpy Cat a run for its money.

"I wouldn’t have thought it possible with everything going on but the love and friendship and kindness from so many people have given me the birthday of my life. ‘I’ve cried so much ! THANK YOU I LOVE YOU [sic]," she captioned the clip.

Kate can be heard blasting (I’ve Had) Time Of My Life from the final dance in Dirty Dancing, but when her cat failed to jump into her arms - surprise surprise - she took matters into her own hands and scooped it up, before turning and smiling for the camera.

The actress can be seen surrounded by bouquets as she celebrated her birthday.

And Kate's quite the dab hand when it comes to Instagram. Earlier this month, she slammed a troll who questioned her taste in men on Instagram

The Pearl Harbour actress took to Instagram to share an Instagram video of her donning a googly eyes filter with her cat, Clive, but talk quickly turned to her love life in the comments section.

Beckinsale is currently in a relationship with 23-year-old singer Goody Grace.

After a follower asked, "Why do you keep dating guys that could be your children?" the actor expertly shut down the remark, writing: "Every relationship I have had has been solely to annoy you."

One commentator then asked, "Are you married?" to which Beckinsale replied, "To the cat yes."

And when another Instagram user wrote, "You need a man", Beckinsale joked, "Tell me why? To stop me sticking eyes on the cat? What if he liked eyes on the cat? What if I won’t stop? How will he help this situation."

Per The Daily Mail, Beckinsale is currently in lockdown at her Los Angeles home with her boyfriend, Goody Grace.

According to the publication, the pair were first seen holding hands in early April, though sources allege that the two had already been involved for months.

"Kate enjoys his company. She finds him very mature, smart and creative. He entertains her with music, they cook and watch movies," a source told PEOPLE at the time. "She thinks he is the perfect quarantine boyfriend."

Kate spoke candidly about her dating history in the May issue of Women's Health.

"It can feel like a little bit of a political act to be a woman over 32 who's having any fun at all. 'Oh my god, I'm going to sit home and anticipate menopause while crocheting'," she explained. "Unless you're doing that, it somehow seems to be risqué, which is just ridiculous to me."
