Ruby Rose has moved to take down her bombshell posts which claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Katy Perry.
Earlier today (April 14), the Australian actress gave followers an update on the allegations she made against the singer.
Perry's representatives have since addressed Rose's comments, strongly denying any claims of sexual assault, in relation to an alleged incident which took place in an Australian nightclub almost 20 years ago.
Rose, best known for her roles in Orange Is The New Black and John Wick: Chapter 2, took to Threads to make a number of bombshell claims against the American artist.
Replying to an article about Perry, 41, joking about Justin Bieber's set at Coachella, the Australian actress wrote: “Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s*** what she thinks.”
The 40-year-old then opened up on the extent of her allegations: “I was only in my early 20s. I’m now 40.
“It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly.
“Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes.”
Rose went on: “She didn’t kiss me. She saw me ‘resting’ on my best friends lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face till my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her.
“After it I threw up on her. I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it. Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell yall she wasn’t a good person. Instead I got attacked by.. everyone."
Taking to Threads today, the actress told fans that she has "finalized" reports to authorities, though this has resulted in her needing to delete any public comments she has made on the case.
She wrote, in full: "Hi! Last update on this:
"As of this afternoon, I have finalized all of my reports. This means I am no longer able to comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved.
"It’s going to look like I am ignoring everything from supportive messages, to other people’s experiences, but I’m not.
"This is a standard request from the police and in many ways, quite the relief.
"I can start the healing process now. And temporary move forward. (sic)
"I love you all so much," she concluded.
It means that there is no trace of the allegations on her account, despite being saved and screenshotted in the time it was live online.
A representative for Perry has since come out to address the claims from Rose, denying everything alleged by Rose.
The statement read: “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies.
"Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”
Rose had made a series of comments following her initial claim, telling followers that "as a woman, for a myriad of reasons, opening up about W on W [women-on-women] violence and sexual abuse, seems to be 100 times harder than speaking about the male predators, at least for me."
Replying to a follower who hinted at the fact she might have been speaking out in relation to a Twitter feud which she had with Perry in 2017, Rose replied that she's "not interested in filing a report over this."
The actress further claimed: "[Perry] is more than welcome to sue me (she won’t, because it happened, I have photos and it was literally in public and witnessed by multiple people),
"Plus there is so much more that happened in the years leading up to her silly song she won’t want me discussing. The psychological manipulation was strong with that one," she wrote.
