Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, best known for starring in reality show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOB), have stepped forward to quash recent whispers of a potential end to their 27-year marriage.
In an article by People this week, a source suggested a separation was already underway between the couple, spurring intense speculation. And in a statement on her Instagram on July 4, Richards, 54, addressed these rumors.
This statement comes in the wake of a comment made to People, alleging, "Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof. They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family."

Since 2010, Richards has been a mainstay on Bravo’s RHOB, with Umansky, 53, featuring regularly over the past 13 years. Umansky also stars in Netflix's reality series Buying Beverly Hills, showcasing his thriving real estate business, with two of their daughters serving as agents.
Disputing the divorce rumors, Richards wrote, "In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue."
Acknowledging a rough patch in their marital journey, she added, "We have had a rough year, the most challenging one of our marriage."
Despite the challenges, the RHOB star expressed their enduring respect and love for each other, stating, "We both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part." Richards appealed for privacy and debunked any false narratives, concluding her post by expressing gratitude for the fans' support.

Umansky, in a 2013 interview with People, reiterated the authenticity of their on-screen relationship, stating, "We’re the same, with or without cameras. We’re just super real and we know each other and we’re real. We don’t have any secrets to hide. That’s one thing we talked about, the skeletons in our closet, and we can handle our worst skeletons."
Earlier this year, the pair found themselves under the divorce speculation microscope when Richards was spotted without her wedding ring. Umansky dismissed these rumors during a podcast appearance on Two T’s in a Pod.
He said, "We’re not getting divorced. I mean, it’s so dumb. That one stupid story that came out there and then the girls all, you know, decided to talk about it on the Housewives, and so now it’s a storyline.”
Richards and Umansky's love story traces back to 1994, resulting in their marriage in January 1996.
They have three daughters - Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Richards also shares a 34-year-old daughter, Farrah Brittany, with her previous husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
