As the world continues to mourn the tragic passing of Lisa Marie Presley, more and more details surrounding the final months of her life are coming to light.
On Thursday, the only daughter of music legend Elvis Presley was rushed to hospital after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest, per BBC News.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by Lisa Marie's mom, Priscilla Presley, who said in a statement to the press: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us."
"She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known," the doting mother added. "We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss."

Born in Tennessee in February 1968, Lisa Marie was the only child of legendary hitmaker and King of Rock 'n' Roll Elvis Presley. She would go on to continue his legacy after launching her own music career in 2003 with the release of her debut album, To Whom It May Concern.
Lisa Marie would later release a "duet" with her late father in 2007, with the acclaimed single 'In the Ghetto'.
In her personal life, Presley first became a mother in 1989, following the birth of daughter Riley Keough, whom she shared with ex-husband Danny Keough. The couple also welcomed son Benjamin Keough in 1992.

Lisa Marie is also a mom to 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
Tragically, Benjamin died by suicide in 2020 at the of age 27.
At the time of her son's death, Lisa Marie's manager, Roger Widynowski, said: "[Lisa] is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated", but was "staying strong" for her other children.
"She adored that boy. He was the love of her life," Widynowski added.
Then, in 2022, Lisa Marie wrote a touching essay for PEOPLE in honor of National Grief Awareness Day.
"It's a real choice to keep going, one that I have to make every single day and one that is constantly challenging, to say the least," she wrote. "But I keep going for my girls."

Elsewhere in the essay, the devastated mom revealed that she still blamed herself "every single day" over her son's passing.
Speaking about grief, she wrote: "If the loss was premature, unnatural, or tragic, you will become a pariah in a sense. You can feel stigmatized and perhaps judged in some way as to why the tragic loss took place."
"I already battle with and beat myself up tirelessly and chronically, blaming myself every single day and that's hard enough to now live with," she wrote. "But others will judge and blame you too, even secretly or behind your back which is even more cruel and painful on top of everything else."
Since the heartbreaking news of Lisa Marie's death was revealed, fans and stars alike have flooded social media with tributes to the late star.
Our thoughts continue to go out to Presley's family, friends, and fans at this time.
