There are some celebrities out there who are so poised and elegant, that they seem to float through the world with all the cool gracefulness of a swan gliding over still water.
It's hard to imagine these beautiful people putting a toe out of line, let alone actually ever tripping up and falling flat on their faces. However, famous people are only human, and this week actress Sophia Vergara reminded us all of this in the most hilarious possible way.

The Modern Family star took to Instagram to share a video with her 20 million followers of herself relaxing by the poolside on a hot, sunny day. At least, she was trying her best to relax. The problem was, she was having a bit of trouble keeping her balance on a pool inflatable.
The hilarious footage, which you can see for yourself in the video above, shows Sophia trying to clamber onto a large inflatable bull. But the bull was obviously some kind of air-filled bucking bronco, since Sophia quickly tumbled into the water with an ignominious splash.
Weirdly enough, this isn't the first pool-floatable-themed Instagram post to come from Sophia. Back in April of 2017, she showed us all the right way to mount a giant inflatable flamingo, which you can see for yourself below.

Although the footage didn't do her dignity any favors, it seems as though plenty of Sophia's followers really enjoyed the footage. For instance, her former Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler took to the comments to write: "Haha haha! I think I still have the one you sent me!"
Maybe we'll be seeing a similar video from him in the near future? You just never know!
