Korean TikTok is currently capturing the imagination, with creators posting some outrageous content, including one particular NSFW trend.
The trend in question involves men sucking each other’s nipples through a straw, but the context has left many social media users puzzled.
The viral video, posted by content creator Choi Hyeok-guen, displays the TikTok star baring his nipples with two men sucking on them using straws.
Hyeok-guen, who has 10 million TikTok followers, has also posted other NSFW videos alongside the recent viral clip, which have gained further traction, including one of a guy thrusting on the floor, as well as doing a rather explicit lap dance.
Unsurprisingly, social media has responded with typical bemusement, with one user stating: “I don’t even know what to say, bro.”
Another added: “Ok but srsly what is happening in this vid. Oh what video is this I’m crying.”
With the initial context evading users, people have gradually come to realize what the meaning is behind the viral trend.
It transpires that the videos are an online show from South Korean media corporation, the Lineup Company.
The purpose of the videos is to set influencers up against each other as they compete for donations on a livestream under a genre called Excel Broadcasting.
The contestants are then ranked based on the number of donations they've amassed over the course of the livestream, which consequently leads to some rather explicit behavior in order to generate the numbers to be announced as the winner.
