Doja Cat has debuted a brand new edgy look on social media.

The 26-year-old musician took to Instagram Live to her 24.1 million followers to reveal her newly shaved head even went further and started shaving her eyebrows while her viewers watched.

Though the 'Kiss Me More' singer is known for her constant quirkiness, fans weren’t expecting to see her undergo a major transformation.

The Grammy award winner said she was "obsessed" with her new look since chopping off her locks and said she doesn't like "having hair," adding, "I feel like I was never supposed to have hair anyway".

Watch her explain why she decided to shave her hair:

Doja - whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini - told viewers that for her entire life she's never considered having hair "cool".

"I never liked having hair. I cannot tell you one time, since the beginning of my life, that I've ever been like, 'This is cool'. I just do not like to have hair," she continued.

The 'Say So' hitmaker further explained that it was "f***ing exhausted" while working out at the gym with a wig and that her hair would start "sliding and peeling off her head".

"I would be working out, but I couldn’t focus because I was more concerned about how I looked. Or how my hair was doing, and how to keep it adhered to my scalp," she said.

The rapper added that sometimes she would put a beanie "on top of" a wig "that's on top of a wig cap that's on top of braids".

She continued: "I just can't believe that it took me this long to be like, 'Shave your f***ing head" and concluded by saying she's "really liking" her newly shaved head.

Her look comes after back in May the 'Woman' singer announced that she would have to pull out of festival appearances and The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn World Tour because she would be recovering at home from tonsil surgery.

This also comes after her Instagram follow count took quite a blow after she slammed Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp for leaking their private DMs last month.

The 'Need To Know' singer blasted at the 17-year-old actor for posting messages where she asked expressed romantic interest in his co-star Joseph Quinn, 29, and said to her followers that what Schnapp did was "snake s***".

Her social media following plummeted from 24.34m to 24.14m during the feud after she came under fire from fans who highlighted that Noah is a minor.

However, the two stars eventually reconciled after Schnapp revealed in his TikTok video that he has since apologized to the singer.
