Why Paris now reportedly believes allegations against dad Michael Jackson as new photos of him with alleged victims are released
As a new biopic about the life of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is set to be released later this month his daughter Paris has made her thoughts about her alleged paedophile father clear.
In the biopic Jackson is portrayed by his nephew, Jaafar, son of Jermaine Jackson.
The movie, Michael, culminates as Jackson releases Thriller at the peak of his solo success, but has been overshadowed by serious allegations of abuse and a growing number of lawsuits.
Last year, it was revealed that at least a third of the film was forced to be cut as it depicted false allegations of sexual abuse levelled by the family of Jordy Chandler in 1993.
The release date was pushed back a year as movie was reshot
Reportedly, millions were spent on reshoots, and a large portion of the film was completely rewritten.
All scenes filmed at Jackson's Californian home Neverland were also cut, meaning the release was pushed back a year.
Recently renewed allegations of predatory paedophilic abuse by the singer, most notably from the Cascio family who say he sexually abused four of their five children, have emerged.
After watching the 2019 documentary, Leaving Neverland, which addressed Jackson’s alleged abuse, the Cascio children realised they had each been subjected to the same abuse, including rapes by the singer.
New photographs have prompted a new lawsuit
As new photographs of the late singer with the Casico siblings have emerged, the family have now filed a complaint against Jackson's estate and all the adults working for him, whom they said enabled him to carry out this abuse.
The Daily Mail revealed that those close to the Cascio family say that Michael’s 28-year-old daughter Paris has finally come to believe that the allegations of her father abusing many children are, tragically, likely true.
In the past, Paris has stuck to the belief that her “kind-hearted” father could not have sexually abused anyone and denounced accusations as “lies”.
However, the source said: “Paris has stayed in touch with the Cascio family and she is especially close with their mother, Connie.
“There have been some very candid conversations over the years between Paris and the Cascio family and, based upon those, Paris knows exactly what her father did.”
At her father’s funeral in 2009, at just 11 years old she blurted out: “I just wanted to say, ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine – and I just wanted to say I love him so much”.
She then collapsed crying in the arms of her aunt, Janet Jackson.
The new movie, which had a $150 million budget, is set to be released on April 22, but Paris is expected not to attend the premieres in either LA or Berlin.
