Keanu Reeves has once again proven that he's the nicest guy in Hollywood.
The 57-year-old star of The Matrix franchise is famous for his generosity. As well as donating millions to charity, he's known for giving extravagant gifts.
He presented members of The Matrix: Reloaded stunt team with Harley-Davidson motorcycles when they wrapped filming. More recently, he said thank you to the stunt crew on the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4 by giving each member a Rolex Submariner.
So it comes as no surprise that when the fourth Matrix movie landed in cinemas, Reeves took it upon himself to take the experience up a level - by flying his friends and co-workers to the premiere on a private jet.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reeves wanted everyone to feel included. He invited all his reps, members of his inner circle, and everyone who had helped him prepare for the film to its San Francisco world premiere on December 18.
Not only did he sort transport to the event, but Reeves took care of their hotels, tickets, and even organized a special post-premiere brunch.
Chad Stahelski - who directs Reeves in the action-packed John Wick franchise but started out as his stunt double on the original Matrix films - confirmed his generosity.
"He flew a bunch of us up here," Stahelski said in an interview while walking the green carpet at The Matrix: Resurrections premiere.
"He's incredibly generous. In the audience tonight will be so many people that helped him, from his martial art trainers to jiu-jitsu trainers to hair and makeup to his stunt crew. He makes sure that his friends and family are here. He's epic."
When asked about the extravagant gift, the famously modest Reeves responded simply by saying: "Yeah, it’s great to be able to share our experiences and lives together."
The long-awaited fourth installment in the Matrix series sees Reeves reprise his iconic role Neo over eighteen years since the third film was released.
He stars alongside fellow returning cast member Carrie-Anne Moss and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
The Matrix: Resurrections is in cinemas now.
