Adan Canto's wife has spoken out following the X-Men star's death.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the heartbroken wife expressed her love for her late husband in a touching tribute.
She began the Instagram tribute by quoting the Bible verse Mathew 6:19-21: "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Stephanie concluded the post with a little note of her own, writing: "Forever my treasure Adan, see you soon."

Multiple outlets confirmed the news before USA Today released a statement provided to them by the star's publicist Jennifer Allen.
"Adan had a depth of spirit that few truly knew," Allen added. "Those who glimpsed it were changed forever... He will be greatly missed by so many."

Berry, who worked with Canto in the 2014 sci-fi-action flick X-Men: Days of Future Past alongside Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and Hugh Jackman, took to Instagram to post some kind words about her "dear, sweet friend."
"I don’t have the words just yet... but my dear sweet friend Adan just gained his wings. Forever, forever in my heart," she said next to a still image of the star.
Sutherland also posted a tribute to Instagram, writing: "It seems lately I have had to make too many posts like this one, but I am heartbroken by the loss of Adan Canto," he wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday. "He was such a wonderful spirit. As an actor his desire to do well, to be great, and then do better, was truly impressive and he will be greatly missed.
"I am also heartbroken for his wife, Steph and his two young children. Adan, may you rest in peace," the actor added.
In a joint statement after the news of the 42-year-old's death, Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment, who have credited Adan with multiple roles throughout his career, said: "We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Adan Canto. This is an unfathomable loss, and we grieve alongside his wife Stephanie, their children and loved ones," they added before concluding: "We will miss Adan dearly."
