Cast your mind back to 2015, and the world was shocked by the news that former-NBA player Lamar Odom had overdosed on cocaine during a visit to a brothel, leaving him in a coma. Not only was the world of sport shocked, but Khloé Kardashian, Lamar's wife (although she had filed for divorce) at the time, was left in a state of despair.

Now, I know what you're thinking: "To be fair, it's understandable - I would have a mental and physical breakdown if I was involved with a Kardashian" and I get that. But, when you hear the extent of the damage Lamar did to himself, his story of recovery becomes even more remarkable and horrifying at the same time.

For the Kardashians, however, they remarked that the incident is one of the toughest moments that they have ever had to face as a group of sisters. In a 2017 interview to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kendall Jenner said:

"I landed from Hong Kong to London, I landed in London and the first text that popped into my phone was from Kim and it had said, ‘Lamar passed away.' And I immediately started sobbing on the plane.

"Then I got the next text came through saying, ‘OK, actually he's OK. He's alive but he's not doing well.' So that's why I was so upset because I wanted to be there to be able to say goodbye."

Kim, for her part, claims that someone had made a fake account and had emailed her false information that she relayed to her sisters.

"Someone had made a fake account and emailed me with the wrong information," she added. "And so just seeing Khloé…"

Khloé, who had filed for divorce from Lamar but was still legally married to him at the time of the incident, recalled that "I was screaming. But to think and to go through the motions as if someone has passed away is the most traumatic thing to do. And then to know they're really alive. It was too much emotions I think for any of us to handle."

However, while the information about Lamar being dead may have been false, in an interview with Kevin Hart, the former LA Lakers player revealed the harrowing extent of his abuse. Speaking to the comedian while sitting inside an ice bath, the conversation went as follows.

Odom: "It’s a good day to be alive, considering the alternative."

Hart: "100 percent. Do you now realize how close to death you were?"

Odom: "Yeah, all my doctors that see me say I’m a walking miracle. I had 12 strokes and six heart attacks when I was in a coma."

Hart: "… God damn."

You can see why Odom's doctors see him as a walking miracle, to recover to full health, after enduring complications as serious as that, is nothing short of remarkable. Hopefully, he can put his troubles behind him and carry on the right path.

Khloé Kardashian's ex-husband Lamar Odom has made an explosive claim about his famous former wife beating "the s**t out of a stripper" for having an orgy with him.

The claims were laid bare in the former NBA star's brand new tell-all autobiography, Darkness To Light.

Lamar opened up about his addictions to drugs and sex, including a recollection of the shocking encounter between Khloé and the stripper. The cocaine and marijuana-fueled orgy took place at Hotel Roosevelt back in 2012, Lamar recalls.

The 39-year-old former Lakers player alleges that there were "naked girls everywhere" when Khloé and her mother Kris Jenner barged into the hotel room with their security guards in tow.

"[She] opened the door and pounced on the first girl she saw," he writes.

Lamar then claims that Khloé "beat the s**t out of one of the girls who tried to protest. She's dropping vicious blows all over the top of this girl's head."

According to his account of the incident, Kris was screaming as security attempted to separate her daughter from the woman she was assaulting.

Afterwards, Khloé apparently told Lamar to "pack up" while security staff removed "all traces of drugs" from the room.

Lamar and Khloé got married in 2009 after dating for just a month, and were together until 2013. They divorced in 2016 following three years of separation. During that time, Khloé had decided to put the divorce on hold while taking care of Lamar who had suffered a near-fatal overdose in a brothel.

"I have been obsessed with sex for as long as I can remember," Lamar adds in his memoir. "I am a sex addict — I’ve had sex with more than 2,000 women. There were too many strippers to count. It wasn’t a big deal, but often I would pay them. I never thought less of them."

Lamar also admits to having paid for "plenty of abortions over the years" and would have unprotected sex with as many as six women a week.

The Kardashians have yet to comment on Lamar's new autubiography.

Tristan Thompson has seemingly lashed out against Lamar Odom.

It appears as though Khloé Kardashian's on-again off-again beau felt provoked after her ex-husband left a flirtatious comment underneath one of her Instagram pictures.

This image showed Khloé taking a shower outside, wearing a stylish two-piece bikini.

After seeing the snap, Odom took to the comments of the post to write "hottie" along with several heart-eyed and fire emojis.

Thompson also left a number of hearts and drooling emojis of his own. However, he seemed to take issue with Odom's apparent flirtation and went so far as to confront him in the comments.

As you can see in the image above, Thompson wrote: "God brought you back the first time. Play if you want, different results," in a reference to the Lakers player's near-fatal drug overdose back in 2015.

Several Instagram users have since shared comments of their own reacting to Thompson's open hostility.

For instance, one person wrote: "Ummm is Tristan mocking Lamar's near-death experience or....?"

Then this commenter wrote: "Bruh Tristan needs to be quiet lmao we like Lamar more than him. [sic]"

A third stated: "She looks insanely good... Of course they had to make it about them. Ugh. Love you Khloé!"

Another person penned: "The nerve, the Gall, the Audacity, and the Gumption! Get in the bin, Tristain. [sic]"

Finally, someone else wrote: "This is the most wild comment I've ever seen. [sic]"

Khloé and Odom first met at a party for Odom's teammate Metta World Peace back in 2009, marrying a month later in September. Khloé filed for divorce in 2013, and the couple signed the relevant papers in July of 2015.

Per the Los Angeles Times, Odom was hospitalized in October of 2015 after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He was left in a coma for four days as a result of the overdose.

Meanwhile, Khloé and Thompson have been in an on-again/off-again relationship since 2016 - which has been marred by numerous controversies over the basketball star's alleged infidelities.

Sadly, the couple recently split up once again last month. However, the former couple continue to co-parent their  three-year-old daughter True.

While Khloé has yet to publicly comment on her ex-husband's explosive claims, Lamar did reveal in a new interview with Jenny McCarthy on her SiriusXM show on Wednesday, that the 34-year-old reality star sent him a text yesterday, after the memoir was released.

"Um, she sent me a text yesterday," he said. "She good, she talked about one of the stories I told in the book. About her coming to the hotel and putting her hands on the girl. She said she didn't even think I remembered that story."

Lamar also described the exchange as "friendly" and said that he hopes their communication will continue even if their marriage broke down more than six years ago.

"The next house I buy, hopefully she can decorate it," the former Lakers player added. "They're amazing decorators, they're amazing homemakers."

"Love is strange, man," Odom said in reference to the fact that he and Khloé married just a month after they started dating. "I love my family with all my heart, but that's how I knew she was the one because no one could tell me no, I wasn't getting married to Khloe. It would have been real easy for me to say, don't ever call me again, that's how strong it was."

Odom's memoir, Darkness to Light is available now.

Lamar Odom's fiancée, Sabrina Parr, has fired back at a body-shamer after she criticized a topless photo of her that was shared by the former NBA star.

The incident took place after Odom, 40, shared a sexy snap of the 32-year-old on social media, praising his beau for her natural body (which some people in the comments section believed to be a sly dig at Odom's ex-wife Khloé Kardashian).

But one commenter took umbrage with Odom's use of the phrase "100% natural", writing: "Leave the stupidity of 100% natural. If your fiancée is beautiful YES and not so natural too! Lamar seriousness."

In short, this commenter was questioning whether or not her body was really natural.

In response to this, Parr clapped back, "so it's stupid to be natural? I can't even get started with ppl like you tonight... Be careful tho because Lamar doesn't like when ppl say bad things about me. You might not be on his page much longer lol."

The former NBA star, who has also revealed that he and Parr will not be intimate with each other until they are married, did not respond to the troll.

The pair, who have been engaged since last month, made their relationship official back in August. This was announced by Odom on social media with a number of snaps from their engagement night.

Showcasing the amazing tear-drop sparkler, Odom said, "Introducing my new fiancé!! Soon to be Mrs. Parr-Odom. She the ONE!!!!"

She also shared the pictures on her social media, writing, "I SAID YES!!!!!"

This will be Odom's second marriage, as many know. He was previously married to Khloé Kardashian in 2009 and their divorce was finalized in 2016.
