It is the mystery that has defined 2017, and after two months of constant rumours we are still none the wiser. The question, "Is
pregnant?" has been muttered everywhere; from the inside of elementary school corridors, to the uncomfortable office chat next to the water cooler with your colleague from accounts. People want to know, but Kylie doesn't want to play ball.
What has followed is one of the most millennial version of cat and mouse to have ever existed: we have seen multiple selfies, #throwbackthursday's and subtle colour hints - but no full body shot of the reality star: Until now.

In the months after the announcement that Kylie Jenner is pregnant, fans of the reality star have taken up new careers as investigators and are analysing every Snapchat, Instagram, quote or photo that she shares in a quest to find the answer behind the mystery.
Then, on Sunday morning, MailOnline published a series of photos in which they claimed that Kylie's bump was undeniably visible. "Oh my god!" cried 90% of the population on Twitter. The mystery was solved. Jenner was pregnant. The world rejoiced.
However, as with all good stories: There was a twist.
Kylie quickly took to Twitter to discredit the images, saying that they had been photoshopped by the paper: "First of all you're going to photoshop my photos blogs/paps!! Check for the crooked lines in the background. 2nd photo is clearly altered".

Obviously, the Mail denied that the pictures had been doctored, but Kylie wasn't done there. Taking to her Snapchat, Jenner posted a full body shot for the first time in months... and there was no bump in sight.
Fans rightly lost the minds, and to make the situation even more complex, the photo also contained her sister
. Khloe is also reported to be pregnant, but much like Kylie, her bump wasn't visible - although this could have a lot to do with how she is posing in the image.
This was the first time that Jenner has directly responded to any reports of her pregnancy and due to her angry response, everybody has been left extremely confused as to whether she is or isn't pregnant and demanded answers from her.

This was the first time we had seen a full-body shot of Kylie for months. Ever since the announcement, the star has been posting images of just her face, when previously she had often been seen posing scantily-clad in the likes of swimwear and lingerie sets. However, the most recent image of her has made fans question whether the star is pregnant or if she has literally conned the world.

The plot has thickened. Jenner is the master of deception and no doubt she knows how to create a stir in the media. Don't be surprised to see her announce the pregnancy alongside a range of baby clothing, right in time for Christmas.
