An adult advice platform is seeking to recruit couples aged sixty-plus to test out different sex positions for its new "veteran" page.

The chosen couples will be paid $3,800 (£3,000), and they will be tasked with trying out a number of sex positions varying in difficulty over a two-month period.

SexPositions.Online is launching its veteran page early next year to provide older people with the information they may need to improve their sex lives.

As the name suggests, the website is dedicated to sex positions and uses animated graphics and descriptions to give people access to 250-plus of them in the hope of improving their sex lives.

This comes after a survey cited by SexPositions.Online found that 76% of 1,500 men and women aged 65-plus consider sex to be an important part of their lives, but 54% were no longer enjoying the act.

As noted in a previous VT interview with mature porn stars, according to PornHub's age demographics, "mature" is in the top five keywords for users aged 45 to 64-plus, and it is the most popular search term for the over 65s.

SexPositions.Online's survey found that while 51% of the surveyed wanted to try new things in the bedroom, 87% of them were anxious to do so.

The website is looking for a variety of couples to take part in the research so that they can provide information to cater to all visitors to their veteran page.

However, those selected to try out a minimum of four new sex positions a month must be able to provide feedback in English.

As the website is launching its new veteran page early next year, they are hoping to recruit older couples for their research and have them actively trying out new positions before Christmas.

James, the founder of SexPositions.Online, said:

"A lot of people are uncomfortable with the thought of an older person being sexually active, but I think this is something that needs to change.

"Just because you turn 60, doesn't mean you suddenly lose all desire to be intimate with someone else. This subject being perceived as 'taboo' has lead to older people feeling stifled by their age, with nowhere to turn when they need inspiration or information on how they can still enjoy sex.

"The hope of this research is to get more over 60s having sex, and good sex at that, and for those who already are, to help ensure they feel confident in branching out and trying new things.

"We'd like to get the ball rolling on this before Christmas, so we encourage any interested couples to get involved and start applying!"

Interested couples aged 60 plus can apply for the position (or should we say positions) until October 30 here.
