A man tracked a woman down on Instagram to complain that she didn't match him on the dating app Bumble.
Last month, Natalia Antonova took to Twitter to share screenshots, which show how the overzealous man slid into her DMs only to insult her for “harshly judging” him.
She captioned the screengrabs: “Happy anniversary to this great moment in incel history.”
The first screenshot initially starts off well, with Natalia telling the man, who had just slid into her Instagram DMs, that she is “impressed” with his opinion on soup.
But the conversation soon takes a turn as the unnamed man admits that he had tried to match her on Bumble.
“You never swiped back though, so I wondered if you’d respond if I found you on Instagram,” he wrote. “I’m not offended. Just think it’s a little shallow of you.”
“Excuse me?” she asks.
“You harshly judged my Bumble profile, but the second you saw that I’m funny and I can cook, you let me talk to you,” he replied.
“Harshly judged?” she said. “I honestly don’t remember ever coming across you on Bumble. So whatever it is you’ve just assumed, it’s weird and wrong.”
It then escalates even further when the man asks her, “Is this your way of implying that you get so many matches on Bumble that you don’t remember me? Scandalous!”

Natalia tells the stranger that she gets “plenty” of matches on the app as she refutes the claim that being popular on Bumble is somehow "scandalous".
“Way to make a guy feel good about himself,” he says in response.
“It’s not my job to flatter you,” Antonova retorts. “Especially after you called me shallow. Piece of advice: Acting insecure and rudely demanding validation is not how you get girls.”
The man then resorts to saying: “You’re just an ageing single mom anyway, whatever.”
Evidently, not one to take insults lying down, Natalia claps back: “Sure am! That’s why you got upset with me on Bumble, tracked me down on Instagram, came up with a clever response to me, got into my DMs, blew it by being a douchebag, and are now mad about it. Cool life.”
The man then tries to "apologize" for his remarks and bizarrely asks her to dinner. Needless to say, Natalia completely shuts him down.
Her tweet has since garnered a huge response on Twitter, with many criticizing the man's audacity to insult a woman for no good reason.
