Meghan Markle is certainly a woman of many talents, being an actress, philanthropist, sartorial icon, and not to mention a newly minted member of the royal family. And while you'd think that this would be enough for one mere mortal, the Duchess of Sussex only went and added another title to her roster this week: champion basketball player.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kicked off their week at Loughborough University, north of London, where they met with honourees from Coach Core, an initiative which trains young people to become coaches. It was Meghan who really shone, however, when she took part in a passing drill in heels. 

The erstwhile Suits actress wore a blue belted top by Oscar de la Renta and black flared trousers by Altuzarra as she passed the basketball back and forth to the students undergoing coach training. And here's the evidence to prove it...

I mean, I don't know about you, but I can hardly walk in heels, let alone effortlessly throw a basketball in them. I think it's official: Meghan Markle is a veritable wonder woman.

But while Meghan may be able to kick some serious butt in a pair of heels, she's still a true romantic at heart, as seen in a clip from the upcoming two-part documentary, Queen of the World.

In the video, Meghan is reunited with her wedding dress for the first time. It's evident that she loves the Givenchy gown, proclaiming "It's amazing, isn't it?", and admiring the veil, saying "The work that they did here is just so beautiful."

The Duchess of Sussex then elaborated on the touching tribute she made to the 53 nations of the Commonwealth, which was seen on her wedding veil. 'I knew that it would be a fun surprise as well for my now husband, who didn't know, and he was really over the moon to find out that I would make this choice for our day together," the 37-year-old explained. "It was important for me, especially now being a part of the royal family, to have all 53 of the Commonwealth countries incorporated."

She added that her choice of veil "surprised" other members of the royal family. "I think the other members of the family had a similar reaction and just appreciation for the fact that we understand how important this is for us and the role that we play, and the work that we're gonna continue to do within the Commonwealth countries. So, yeah, it was good news all around, I think, so I hope people liked it as much as I liked helping to create it."

However, the most touching moment of the short clip was when the Duchess of Sussex shared that there was something hidden in the dress' veil. "Somewhere in here", Meghan says, "There's a piece of blue fabric stitched inside. It was my something blue. It's fabric from the dress that I wore on our first date."

I mean, c'mon! 

Meghan Markle seems to be fitting into her new role as a royal with unnerving ease. The 36-year-old, who married Prince Harry in May this year, has grasped the opportunity to become the Duchess of Sussex with grace, gusto and a beaming smile on her face.

Since she entered the family, the majority of people have been impressed with the manner that the former Suits actress has handled the pressure. Whether it's her friendly, unassuming nature, or the fact that she has single-handedly dragged the Royals into the 21st Century, there is much to admire about Meghan Markle.

Take, for example, her wedding day. It was a joyous occasion, with Britain being submerged in beautiful spring sunshine and A-Listers turning out in full-force for the event. David Beckham, Serena Williams, Tom Hardy and George and Amal Clooney were all in attendance at the ceremony, which is being heralded as the most modern event in royal history.

Whether it was the fact that Harry and Meghan celebrated black culture through an African-American pastor and gospel choir, or Meghan's overtly feminist wedding dress, there was much to be admired.

However, while Meghan has proven to be a hit with the public, it also seems that she has won her new family round as well. During the festive period, it was reported that Markle had made the Royals cry with laughter at her Christmas presents and she recently set off with the Queen to fulfil a royal engagement, with the pair being pictured looking very happy together.

Now, though, it seems like Meghan really has earned the Queen's trust, with her taking over from Elizabeth in a new role. Starting this summer, Meghan and Harry will welcome the youth in the Queen's Young Leaders program to Buckingham Palace.

The role had initially been pioneered by the Queen and - according to the Express - hosting the programme participants is "said to be a job that has been close to [Queen Elizabeth II's] heart since it started five years ago."

The programme was started back in 2013 and honours youth who have given back to their community in a variety of different ways, from mental health advocacy, advocating against violence against women, and other life-saving acts of heroism.

Harry has been a patron of the programme since early 2018 and Meghan will now be joining him in the Queen's place. According to the Prince, he is "hugely optimistic" about the future of the programme.

He continued: "I have really enjoyed meeting so many of them over the past four years and their passion and understanding always leaves me hugely optimistic about the future."

"I have seen time and time again, through my work with young people from across the Commonwealth, that today's generation understands something very important: that to tackle a big issue, you need to focus on the root causes of the challenge, not its symptoms.

"The Queen's Young Leaders are having an incredible impact in their respective countries because they have adopted this mindset."

It would be safe to say that Meghan Markle is well and truly slaying being a royal.

It was the day that Meghan Markle's life will change forever. The former-actress married into the famous family on Earth and became a member of the royal family in the UK. It would be safe to say that since the build-up began, Meghan has divided opinion due to her past, but she has re-invigorated this family, bringing them into the 20th century by becoming the first person of colour in the family as well as going against their traditional and archaic conventions.

While Meghan may be leading the family into the modern age, she will have to conform to certain conventions. There is a list of things that Meghan will not be able to do once she becomes a royal; with some being much more bizarre than others. So, in light of the big day, here's a host of everyday things that Meghan will no longer be able to do.

Take Selfies

While she may have taken selfies with fans during her time in Suits, Meghan will have to refuse now that she is a royal. According to The Mirror, Meghan had told a couple in Nottingham that "we're not allowed to do selfies." It's believed that The Queen isn't a fan of the modern trend, with her labelling them as "disconcerting" and "strange".

Go out alone

Meghan will now constantly be surrounded by heavy security at all times. Being part of the most famous family in the world, she will no longer be able to go out or a jog in the park or a walk alone to clear her head.

Have social media

Meghan's social media presence has pretty much disappeared over the past few months. In the last few years, she had built up a following of over three million followers on Instagram and used to post images of herself regularly. However, since shutting down her website The Tig in April 2017, Meghan hasn't posted on her Instagram.

Like all of the other royals, the public will now be updated on Meghan's activities through the Kensington Palace Instagram account.

Vote

While she may be a British citizen, Meghan is not allowed to vote in elections. According to the parliament website: "Although not prohibited by law, it is considered unconstitutional for the Monarch to vote in an election.”

Wear dark nail varnish

According to OK! Magazine, coloured nail varnish and fake nails are not part of royal etiquette and are seen as "vulgar." On the rare occasion that they do paint their nails, they have to be a nude shade.

Sign autographs

Members of the royal family are not permitted to sign autographs for people, with Prince Charles once telling a fan: "Sorry, they don't allow me to do that."

However, they are allowed to sign visitor books on official engagements as well as official documents.

Go to bed before The Queen

When sharing a house or castle with Her Majesty, guests don't "feel right" about excusing themselves before The Queen is done for the night. So, if Lizzy is on an absolute mad one till 6am, Meghan is going to have to join in as well.

So, while being a royal may seem like the ideal life, it turns out that you are fairly limited in being able to do regular day-to-day activities. Poor old Meghan, hey?

I don't know about you, but I almost can't remember a time before Meghan Markle became part of the Royal Family. We've had wedding gossip, family squabbles, plus more stories than you can shake a stick at; so much so, she's going to take a little break from the spotlight for a little while. But needs must, I guess.

Being a royal comes with its own sets of challenges, I'd imagine, but one thing that particularly sucks for Meghan Markle is that after a long, hard day of royal-ing, she can't even resort to some of her comfort foods. Thanks to the stringent rules at Buckingham Palace, carbs (and therefore pasta) are off the menu, as is garlic, and Meghan Markle won't even be able to pull off any mad eating tricks anymore.

As you're probably well aware, last Saturday, Meghan Markle celebrated her birthday; her 37th in total, and very first as a member of the Royal Family. Happy birthday, Meghan! As part of the celebrations, Meghan hung out with Prince Harry at the wedding of one of his friends, and then got a ton of gifts (some of which she was allowed to keep)!

But the best gift of all, in my opinion, came from her close friend Daniel Martin; who also had the privilege of doing Meghan's makeup at the Duchess of Sussex's royal wedding. The pair go way back, and for Meghan's 37th, Martin gave us all a snapshot of Meghan back in the day, revealing to us one of the skills we had no idea she had.

Obviously, it's awesome while also being a little playful and silly, and obviously, it's food-based. Here, we see Meghan Markle at some point during her Suits days, sitting on a chair, someone fixing her hair, and a raspberry on each of her eight fingers (not including thumbs, of course).

"Ready?" She inquires to the camera, and before you know it, she's off; popping each of the raspberries into her mouth with surprising speed and perfect form - that is, until the silliness of the occasion gets to her, and her laughter slows her down somewhat. Still, she gets that eighth raspberry into her mouth and gives a victory gesture to the camera.

I don't know about you, but I think she's pretty good at that particular skill. Although now, we probably won't get to see her whip out that particular party trick at the royal dinner table any time soon, it makes me feel slightly better to know that if I were trapped in a room with Meghan Markle and we had to eat raspberries rapidly to save our lives (don't get bogged down in how or why), I'd be in really good hands.
