Authorities are currently investigating the tragic death of Rhayara Morais, a prominent Brazilian influencer and powerlifting champion, who was found deceased at her residence.
Morais, aged 34, was discovered lifeless in her bed at her apartment - located in Aguas Claras, within Brazil's Federal District - on Wednesday afternoon.
Metro reports that concern first arose when a friend was unable to reach Morais and alerted the local authorities.
Further reports suggest that Morais' body may have remained undiscovered for approximately six days before the distressing discovery on March 27.

She achieved regional acclaim in powerlifting within just two years of taking up the sport, showcasing her exercise routines and athletic prowess to her digital audience.
As a former women's soccer player with a background in physical education and law, Morais often portrayed herself as a digital creator and proudly held the title of 'Brasilia Powerlifting Champion' on her online platforms.

Although officials have not disclosed any details regarding the cause of Morais' death, there have been no indications thus far of criminal involvement.
Following the heartbreaking news of her passing, many fan have flooded Morais' most recent social media posts with tributes, with one person writing: "I will miss you dearly, but your energy and joy will never be erased from my memory! Rest in peace."
A neighbor also commented: "I met her every day here in the condo, honestly I was shocked [...] a polite and extremely cheerful person."
"You will always be my inspiration my best I will forever love you my friend," a third typed.
Morais' last Instagram post was shared on March 22.
The case is under the jurisdiction of the 21st Police Station (Taguatinga Sul), with experts from the Institute of Criminalistics (IC) summoned to conduct a thorough examination of Morais' body, the Daily Mail reports.
