Chris Pratt has sparked backlash after sharing a personal family photo on Instagram.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star, who has had his fair share of online criticism, is now at the center of a heated debate after posting a picture of his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, and their baby.
At first glance, the snap appears to be an innocent mother-baby bonding moment on the couch.
But a second look reveals an unfortunate surprise - a massive diaper blowout. Pratt captioned the hilarious photo: “Sh** happens.”
While baby mishaps like this are common for parents, they don’t typically make their way onto Instagram feeds.
Many users took to the comment section to slam the 45-year-old Marvel star. One user wrote: "Honestly didn't have to post this," another said: "Bro I'm eating rn," and a third added: "And now this picture is forever out there..."
A fourth user went as far as suggesting “social services” should be called, mistakenly assuming the baby wasn’t wearing a diaper.
Meanwhile, others found the post relatable and praised Pratt for sharing an honest glimpse into parenting.
“The most relatable picture," someone remarked. A second reminisced: “Omg! I remember those days… and 11 years later, I wish they were that size again.”
A third chimed in: “Finding a way to make the best of it…can take creativity.”
Pratt and Schwarzenegger tied the knot in June 2019. They welcomed daughters Lyla, four, and Eloise, two, in August 2020 and May 2022, respectively.
In November 2024, the couple announced on social media that they had welcomed their third child together.
“We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt,” they captioned a joint Instagram post at the time, adding: “Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine, and Chris.”
The Parks and Recreation actor also shares 12-year-old son Jack with his ex-wife, Anna Faris.
Earlier this month, Pratt opened up about the Los Angeles wildfires that ignited on January 7, revealing that his family’s home miraculously survived the blaze. “By the grace of God, we have four walls and a roof,” he said in an Instagram video.
Unfortunately, Faris’ home did not survive the blaze, and Jack’s school was also destroyed.
“Dozens of our friends lost their homes,” the actor star. “It’s just wild, and we’re resilient, and we trust in God and consider it all a blessing.”
