Dolly Parton's dazzling Thanksgiving Day performance may have been something all viewers were thankful for - but it also left people with one question on their minds.

During Thursday's celebrations, the iconic Country music star wowed the crowd when she performed the halftime show the the Commanders-Cowboys in Dallas at AT&T Stadium.

And if it wasn't enough that the Cowboys had a 10-point lead going into halftime, morale soon got an extra boost when fans laid eyes on the latest Dallas cheerleader: Dolly Parton herself!

Wearing her own sparkling version of the Cowboys' blue and white cheerleading outfit, Parton delighted fans with performances of '9 to 5', 'Jolene', and Queen's 'We Are the Champions/We Will Rock You'.

And with her stunning wig, beaming smile, and glamorous outfit, many fans soon took to Google and social media to ask the question on every viewer's mind: How old is Dolly Parton?

"Every guy is sitting at the dinner table right now googling Dolly Parton’s age," one person joked on X (formerly known as Twitter).

"Everyone watching football collectively Googling 'Dolly Parton age'", another tweeted, with a third typing: "Dolly Parton still looks good. Let me go google her age."

Yes, the always-bubbly singer showed that age is truly just a number during her performance on Thursday - as she may have been singing '9 to 5', but she proved she's still a 10. In fact, her youthful appearance left people in disbelief after they learned that she's actually 77 years old.

"Wow this is actually Dolly Parton….she’s 77 years old and looks amazing," one X user wrote, with a second adding: "Dolly Parton is 77 and wearing whatever the hell she wants. I love her."

A third tweeted: "Dolly Parton is 77 out here looking 37."

"How many 77-year-old women can pull off the Dallas Cowboys cheerleader look in front of the actual Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders? Dolly Parton is just amazing," another added.

At 77, you may think that Dolly is thinking about hanging up the cowboy boots for good and finally getting some well-earned rest - but you'd be wrong.

Speaking to Ken Bruce during an interview on Greatest Hits Radio, the legendary country singer said that she doesn't ever plan on hanging her glittery cowboy boots up.

Instead, she joked that she hopes she just "drops dead."

"I would never retire," Parton told the host. "I’ll just hopefully drop dead in the middle of a song onstage someday, hopefully, one I’ve written. But anyway, that’s how I hope to go because we don’t have much of a choice in that."

Now that is something that we can all be truly thankful for.
