As reported by The Sun, 26-year-old Hudson Madsen was found dead on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The Sun's reports came on Monday, January 24, although authorities have not revealed when Hudson died.

Per the Metro, the family has released the following statement:

"We are heartbroken and overwhelmed with grief and pain at the loss of Hudson.

"His memory and light will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. We ask for privacy and respect during this difficult time. Thank you."

According to Hudson's social media profiles, he was living in Wahiawa, Hawaii, with his wife Carlie.

Per IMDb, Hudson was also the godson of acclaimed movie director Quentin Tarantino.

Hudson was the son of Michael Madsen (known for his roles in movies such as Kill Bill and Free Willy) and wife and fellow actor DeAnna Madsen (known for her roles in The Price of Air and American Badass).

The couple also shares two other sons, 25-year-old Calvin and 16-year-old Luke.

Michael also shares two sons with his ex-wife, Jeannine Bisignano - 31-year-old Christian and 27-year-old Max.

Our thoughts are with the Madsen family at this time.
