The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has unveiled its list of the 'Most Beautiful Vegan Celebrities of 2023'.

Despite the bizarre move for the animal rights organization, it can't be denied that this year's choices featured two extraordinary talents – Bella Ramsey and Halle Bailey.

Yes, PETA is honoring both stars for not only showcasing their incredible talents on the big and small screens, but also for voicing their love of animals.

Influential stars Bella Ramsey, famous for their role as Ellie in The Last of Us, and Halle Bailey, captivating audiences as Ariel in the live-action version of The Little Mermaid, have become trailblazers for veganism.

The duo's compassionate choices stand testament to their respect for animal rights and the environment, thereby making them the heroes of their generation... and PETA, evidently.

Bella Ramsey's portrayal of Ellie, who is on a mission to save the world, somewhat mirrors their real-life endeavor. They have previously voiced their stance on plant-based eating, telling Newsweek:  "I’m vegan primarily because I love animals, but I also, like most of us, care about the planet. The environmental benefits of going vegan are so significant."

In contrast, Halle Bailey’s beautiful voice, which she attributes to her dairy-free lifestyle, has left audiences spellbound. Her portrayal of Disney's mermaid princess Ariel aligns with her real-life belief that 'fish are friends, not food'.

Halle's interactions with aquatic animals in the film highlight their emotions, relationships, and personalities. During this year’s Met Gala, when hypothetically asked to choose between eating Flounder or Sebastian, she responded in horror: "I would not eat either of them! They’re my friends!"

Halle also appeared alongside her famous sister Chloe in an interview with BuzzFeed, where she openly expressed her love for vegan food.

Bella and Halle follow in the footsteps of other vegan stars, including Justin Fields, Anitta, Lenny Kravitz, Madelaine Petsch, and Billie Eilish, who have previously been honored with PETA's title of 'Most Beautiful Vegan Celebrities.'

Honoring the two stars, PETA writes on its official site: "Both Bella and Halle exemplify compassion, beauty (inside and out), and talent. Their commitment to eating vegan serves as a powerful reminder that the choices we make extend far beyond ourselves and affect the lives of animals and the health of the planet.

"They’re heroes on screen and for animals—and give us hope for the future."

Congrats to both stars for the honor!
