On Saturday (October 5), it was reported that Taylor Rousseau Grigg - a social media star who boasted more than 1.4 million followers on TikTok and a further 200,000 on Instagram - had died "suddenly and unexpectedly".

With the news leaving her fans rocked, her husband - Cameron Grigg - has shared an emotional tribute and message.

Taking to his personal Instagram account, Cameron wrote: "No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age.

"This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime. And in spite of that she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.

"She is the most brave and strong woman I know, and her confidence in the Lord outweighed every other circumstance she’s faced, even in her darkest hours. I know she’s saved my life and so many others out there."

In his emotional statement, Cameron revealed that Taylor's "earthly body is still here" and being sustained with machines in order to "keep her organs viable for donation."

Cameron explained that, "more than anything Taylor would want to know that she’s continuing to save people’s lives even after she’s gone from this world."

He added that, "even though her earthly body may have failed her, her memory and life will be carried on forever."

"While her earthly body is still here waiting to give the gift of life, we know her spirit is in heaven dancing in the streets made of gold with all her beauty and grace," he added. "Her endless shoe/boot collection. And her rhinestones and turquoise jewelry.

"She’s no longer in pain, but her body has been made whole in Jesus name. We can praise God that she will endure no more suffering and she is truly set free from these earthly chains! SHES BEEN MADE WHOLE AND PERFECT!"

"I cling to the fact of knowing that we will be seeing her again! And we will be able to spend all of eternity together," he concluded.

Due to the unexpected and sudden nature of the star's passing, Cameron also revealed that a family friend has launched a GoFundMe to help financially support the family at this time, as he stressed: "With this being so sudden and unexpected we don’t have anything financially in order."

"Even if you can’t contribute financially, prayers for our family are always needed," the grieving husband added.

As of this writing, more than $39,000 has been raised of the $100,000 target.

Following the heartbreaking news, tributes and messages from fans have been flooding the comments sections of Taylor's most recent posts.
