Bizarre three questions Nick Reiner asked A-list celebrities at Conan O'Brien's party before being asked to leave

The strange three questions Nick Reiner asked A-list celebrities at Conan O'Brien's party before being asked to leave have been revealed.

The Hollywood director and his wife, Michele Singer, were found brutally murdered in their Los Angeles mansion on Sunday (December 14).

The couple was discovered by their daughter, Romy, after a massage therapist was unable to gain access to their home.

Rob and Michele had been stabbed to death, and authorities have since identified their 32-year-old son, Nick, as the primary suspect in the killings.

The Gruesome Discovery

Romy arrived at the Reiners’ $13.5 million Brentwood mansion after the therapist's failed attempt to reach her parents.

Upon opening the door, she made the grim discovery of her father’s lifeless body. Paramedics confirmed that her mother was also dead inside the home.

Investigators later confirmed that the couple had been dead for hours, as rigor mortis had already set in when their bodies were discovered, the Daily Mail reported.

Sources indicated that they may have been slain shortly after returning from a holiday party hosted by comedian Conan O'Brien the previous night.

Nick Reiner's Bizarre Behavior at the Party

Hours before the murders, Nick had attended O'Brien's holiday gathering with his parents.

According to The Wall Street Journal, he caused a stir at the party by asking partygoers bizarre questions such as, "What's your name? What's your last name? Are you famous?"

His strange behavior escalated when he interrupted comedian Bill Hader, whom he had just met through his father, and became irate when Hader asked for privacy.

"Nick just stood there and stared before storming off," an insider previously told NBC News.

Nick’s Arrest and the Investigation Unfolds

Later that evening, Nick checked into a hotel in Santa Monica under suspicious circumstances.

According to TMZ, staff discovered a blood-filled shower and a trail of blood leading from his bed.

The investigation took a dramatic turn when he was found at a Los Angeles subway station later that day and arrested without incident.

Video footage obtained by the various outlets showed multiple police vehicles surrounding him as he calmly surrendered.

Nick was placed on suicide watch at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility after his arrest, and he is facing two counts of first-degree murder.

If convicted, he could face life in prison or even the death penalty.

Authorities have stated that there was no indication the 32-year-old was under the influence of drugs at the time of the killings, despite his well-known history of substance abuse.

Reiner, known for directing timeless films such as When Harry Met Sally and The Princess Bride, was remembered as a passionate advocate for equality and family.

His wife, Michele, who worked alongside him in many aspects of his career, was equally respected for her dedication to social justice.

The couple’s tragic deaths have left a void in Hollywood, with friends and colleagues mourning the loss of two of the industry’s most beloved figures.

In an emotional appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Michelle Obama shared her grief, revealing that she and her husband, Barack, had planned to meet with the Reiners the night of their deaths.

Obama praised the couple for their courage and dedication to fighting for what they believed in, emphasizing that "Rob and Michele were some of the most decent, courageous people you ever want to know."

As authorities continue to piece together the details of the crime, questions remain about what led to the horrific killings.

Nick has struggled with substance abuse throughout his life, entering rehab 17 times by the age of 22, a fact he openly discussed in interviews.

Despite his troubled past, there has been no indication that he was under the influence of drugs when he allegedly murdered his parents.

His relationship with his father was notably strained. However, they had worked through some of their issues during the production of the 2016 film Being Charlie, in which Nick portrayed a character struggling with addiction.

Reports suggest that Rob had brought Nick to O'Brien's party in an effort to "keep an eye on him", possibly fearing that his son’s ongoing struggles might lead to further instability.
