'Euphoria' star Angus Cloud dead at 25

Angus Cloud, best known for his starring role in Euphoria, has tragically passed away at his family home in Oakland.

The bereaved family released a statement to TMZ, telling the outlet: "It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways."

The statement continued to shed light on his recent personal struggles, stating, "Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.

"Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence."

The family concluded their statement with a request for privacy: "We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss."

Known for his remarkable talent, Cloud was a fast-rising star in the entertainment industry.

Best known for his role as Fezco in HBO's critically acclaimed series, Euphoria from 2019 to 2022, Cloud had a flourishing career.

His portfolio boasts roles in films like The Line and North Hollywood, alongside guest appearances in music videos for artists such as Becky G, Karol G, and Juice WRLD.

Fans can expect some of his projects that are due to be released soon.

He had recently secured a notable role alongside Melissa Barrera in an upcoming Universal Pictures horror flick. The directors of Scream 6, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, are directing this new project. These projects attest to the rise of Cloud's career in Hollywood before his untimely passing.
