Ted Lasso season four hit Apple TV+ this morning, which means Hannah Waddingham is back on screens as Rebecca Welton and the internet is doing what it does best - digging up the clip of her tearing a strip off a photographer who asked her to get her leg out on the red carpet.
If you haven't seen it, you should.
Back in April 2024, Waddingham was hosting the Olivier Awards at the Royal Albert Hall for the second year running.
She turned up in a purple lavender gown with a thigh-high split, tulle cape, and jewels.
She looked incredible and was posing for photos - all perfectly normal.
Then a photographer shouted at her to show more leg.
Her face changed instantly.
A fan called Bruna Guimaraes, who had flown from Brazil specifically to see Waddingham, was already recording. She caught the whole thing.
"Oh my God, you'd never say that to a man, my friend," Waddingham said, looking directly at the photographer.
"Don't be a d***, otherwise I'll move off. Don't say 'show me leg.' No."
The crowd behind her started cheering. She shook her head, walked off down the steps, then turned back and added: "Have some manners."
That was it - over and done with.
The photographer was left standing there while the rest of the press pack tried not to laugh.
A few days later, Waddingham appeared on The One Show and confirmed she had received a written apology.
"I'm good," she told host Alex Jones.
"I called out what needed to be absolutely necessary to call out, and I've received a written apology."
She was keen to move on from it.
"I'm so ready to move on, and I'm not having it overshadow what was the most, I think even more than last year, the most glorious, joyful, positive night."
She pulled off three outfit changes during the ceremony that night and hosted the entire show.
The photographer got told off on camera and became a viral cautionary tale, which seems about right.
Season four of Ted Lasso dropped on Apple TV+ on August 5, with Waddingham returning as the brilliant, terrifying and occasionally vulnerable Rebecca Welton alongside Jason Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein, and Juno Temple.
Whenever Waddingham is in the news, the Olivier Awards clip follows.
It has become one of those moments that gets shared every few months because people genuinely enjoy watching someone refuse to put up with something they shouldn't have to put up with.
It works because she doesn't hesitate, she doesn't soften it, and she doesn't apologise for saying it.
She is also - for what it's worth - someone who has consistently refused to be defined by how she looks on a red carpet.
When her nine-year-old daughter made her a clutch bag out of cardboard for the SAG Awards, Waddingham carried it on the carpet alongside her designer gown.
That tells you everything about what she thinks matters and what she doesn't.
Waddingham is 52, from south-west London, and trained as a musical theatre performer.
She spent years on the West End before breaking into television.
Most people under 30 know her as Rebecca Welton, but most people over 40 know her as Septa Unella who walked Cersei through King's Landing chanting 'Shame' over and over again in Game of Thrones.
She has spoken about how the waterboarding scene on the GoT set left her with chronic claustrophobia.
She won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Ted Lasso in 2021.
The star also hosted Eurovision in 2023 alongside Graham Norton and has become one of the most in-demand presenters and performers in British entertainment.
She is also - as it turns out - not someone you should ask to show you her leg.
To be fair, maybe it's best to steer clear of that question with anyone.

Laverne Cox may have had the awkwardest interaction at the Emmys last night after she got Hannah Waddingham's name wrong twice during a grey carpet interview.
Now, the Emmys gave us a whole host of wholesome celebrity interactions on Monday night at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles, including Pedro Pascal and his sister Lux slaying the grey carpet, Bella Ramsey and Ariana DeBose ending their two-day feud with a hug, and Kieran Culkin proclaiming to his wife that he wants more children with her - all pretty heartwarming if I do say so myself.
However, there was one interaction that has become a hot talking point online that we all want to forget about -- especially Laverne Cox, who was embroiled in the thick of it.
The 51-year-old Orange Is The New Black star was set to interview Ted Lasso icon Hannah Waddingham for E! News, but as the actress approached her, she botched her name not once but twice... within a matter of seconds. Yikes.
"I'm so excited," Cox started. "Hannah Waddington, how are you?"
"WaddingHAM," the star responded back, "Let’s get that right!"
"Wattingham," Cox said in an attempt to correct herself, but again, another blunder.
"Let's get that right," Waddingham reiterated.
"Tell me - say it again," Cox continued and after the actress had repeated herself a handful of times, we finally breathed a sigh of relief as the interviewer seemed to get a grip with it. Have a look at the moment for yourselves:
Let's just say the internet was not having it.
"Not miss laverne cox calling her waddington and hannah was like absolutely not," wrote one user alongside crying face emojis.
A third also commented on Cox's interviewing skills: "Love Laverne Cox but she messed up Hannah Waddingham’s name and keeps asking the same question: 'tell me the story of this outfit.' She also goes on rants and doesn’t really have a question. Ask them questions! Interview them! Come on!"
"Very uncomfortable watching Laverne Cox butcher Hannah Waddingham's name. First it was 'Waddington' and then it was Wattingham.' Adding insult to injury it doesn't seem she knows this was Ted Lasso's last season," added another user.
Waddingham was nominated for her role as Rebecca Walton in the category of Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, alongside her co-star Juno Temple, as well as fellow nominees Alex Borstein for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Ayo Edebiri in The Bear, Janelle James for Abbott Elementary, Jessica Williams in Shrinking, and Sheryl Lee Ralph also in Abbott Elementary.
While Ayo Edebiri ended up claiming the victory, all the women seemed grateful to have been nominated in such a talented category.
Lizzo has shared her thoughts on Victoria's Secret's move to more inclusivity in the models they use for their runway shows - and it's safe to say she is less than impressed.
The lingerie giant has announced it will be reviving its famous annual fashion show after a four-year break with one key difference - the models.
Victoria's Secret had previously come under fire for only featuring slim models and perpetuating a potentially dangerous body ideal for young women.
However, their upcoming fashion show will feature plus-sized models in the brand's designs for the first time.
Teasing the return of its famed fashion show, Victoria's Secret shared a snippet of what fans can expect from this year's runway showcase.
As well as past models including Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber, the underwear giant also featured plus-sized models in the promo, including Paloma Elsesser.
While the move towards greater representation of different body shapes is a step in the right direction, it has still left fashion fans divided.
Musician Lizzo, 34, took to Twitter to question whether it was true inclusivity or merely performative, sharing the video and adding: "This is a win for inclusivity for inclusivity’s sake.
"But if brands start doing this only because they’ve received backlash then what happens when the ‘trends’ change again? Do the CEOs of these companies value true inclusivity? Or do they just value money?"
Lizzo herself has launched her own shapewear and loungewear brand Yitty, which caters for sized from XS to 6X.
Victoria's Secret did not comment directly on Lizzo's post, but told the New York Post that the brand is always innovating "to put our customer at the center of all we do and reinforce our commitment to championing women’s voices and their unique perspectives."
The spokesperson added: "As we’ve previously shared, our new brand projection and mission will continue to be our guiding principle.
"This will lead us into new spaces like reclaiming one of our best marketing and entertainment properties to date and turning it on its head to reflect who we are today. We’re excited to share more later this year."
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show had taken place annually from 1995 to 2018 but was put on pause due to increasing criticism about the very slim models it used for the runway.
At the time, Stuart Burgdoerfer, the CFO of Victoria’s Secret’s then-parent company L Brands, said that the show would not be taking place while the company worked to "evolve the messaging of [the brand]."
In August 2021, Victoria's Secret announced its rebrand, switching out the 'Angels' the brand was known for in favor of the VS Collective, a group of 10 women with different body types and backgrounds.
As well as professional models, the collective also includes sportswomen such as tennis player Naomi Osaka and soccer star Megan Rapinoe.
The show will also feature Brazilian model Sofia Jirau, the brand’s first model with Down’s Syndrome, as well as transgender models Valentina Sampaio and Emira D’Spain.
Lizzo showed a hater that she is still the queen of clap backs after she responded to a troll attempting to body-shame her.
The photograph in question was a snapshot from the star's 2021 Dove campaign that resurfaced on Twitter this week after a troll reposted the image alongside a screenshot of an article from the time about her post, which was titled 'Lizzo just shared an "unedited" naked selfie to "change the conversation about beauty standards."'
The original post, which was shared on Instagram, aimed to share more love and positivity around such a sensitive topic.
The caption read: "WELCOME TO TAURUS SEASON. To celebrate I wanna give y’all this unedited selfie... now normally I would fix my belly and smooth my skin but baby I wanted [to] show u how I do it au natural - I am excited to be partnering with @dove and the #DoveSelfEsteemProject which is helping to reverse the negative effects of social media and changing the conversation about beauty standards.
"Let’s get real y’all," she added.
However, in an attempt to ridicule the 'Good as Hell' singer the Twitter troll that reposted the bold image (@CasuallyGreg) wrote "Thanks, but my beauty standards remain unchanged."
Other trolls also banded with the user, trying to tear Lizzo down further.
Cue @CassyWearsHeels, AKA Cassandra. Not only did the hater comment "Make obesity bad again," a lame play on words from the former President of the United States Donbald Trump's 2020 campaign slogan, she also posted a photo of herself alongside Lizzo's snap with the caption: "Me or Lizzo?"
"Lizzo," responded one person as per Billboard. "I don’t know you but Lizzo is a publicly kind and inspiring individual. Loving yourself and others should be the basis of humanity. She preaches that. I can only assume you’re terrible."
Another added: "One has four Grammys and is classically trained on the flute. The other just posted a six year old blurred picture of herself drinking wine with ice from a straw. Lizzo. Truth hurts."
And a third commented: "We’re all choosing Lizzo, right??" before adding that the Grammy-award winner is "compassionate, stunning and genuinely unproblematic" whereas "Cassandra is the walking embodiment of the 'school bully.'"
And the comments didn't stop there.
"Imagine posting yourself and LIZZO and being like me or her? with complete confidence. I know the hatred runs so deep that they can't even conceive of a world where people prefer and seek out fat people so maybe they do in fact need reminding," this user responded while another did their own comparison post... And let's just say Cassandra isn't going to be happy about this one...
And hilariously, the tweet has now been deleted because the entire humiliation attempt completely backfired on her.
And fans are convinced that Lizzo herself got involved in the conversation, not directly, but still like the icon she is.
Taking to the social media platform, she shared a well-timed tweet on Tuesday (April 11) that simply read "Lizzo."

The 34-year-old has long been an advocate for conversations around acceptance and body positivity.
Speaking to Vogue back in 2020, the 'Juice' singer said that she plans on taking things just beyond being "positive."
"I think it’s lazy for me to just say I’m body positive at this point. It’s easy. I would like to be body-normative," she told the outlet. "I want to normalize my body. And not just be like, 'Ooh, look at this cool movement. Being fat is body positive.' No, being fat is normal."
She continued: "I think now, I owe it to the people who started this to not just stop here. We have to make people uncomfortable again, so that we can continue to change. Change is always uncomfortable, right?"
Lizzo is also the founder of Yitty, a shapewear design company that helps to champion bodies of all sizes, including sizes up to 6X.

The wheelchair concertgoer who Madonna singled out at her recent show has finally spoken up about the toe-curling incident.
Last week, the 65-year-old 'Vogue' hitmaker - who is currently on her Celebrations Tour which kicked off in London back in October - found herself in hot air on social media.
Footage from Madonna's recent show at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, captured the moment the singer singled out a fan and asked them: "What are you doing sitting down over there?" while pointing, before continuing: "What are you doing sitting down?"
Seemingly unable to hear the fan's response, the 'Like A Prayer' songstress walked closer to the edge of the stage before realizing that they were using a wheelchair.

She acknowledged the error and quickly apologized, telling them: "Oh, OK. Politically incorrect. Sorry about that. I'm glad you are here," before resuming her position at the center of the stage.
One fan voiced their disappointment after seeing the clip, writing: "I’d want every cent of my money back if it was me. Once she walked to the corner of the stage, both middle fingers would’ve been waiting for her. Good grief."
Another user blasted: "who [the f***] cares if someone sits down during a concert if they PAID for tickets," while a third chimed in: "Doesn’t matter if they stand, seat or are laying down. They bought the ticket they can stand, seat, and sleep if they feel like it…"
A fourth added: "It’s not politically incorrect. It’s simply wrong and an a**hole move. Many people sit during shows that aren’t [visibly] disabled. You can also just be tired."
Meanwhile, some people pointed out that at least the 'Hung Up' singer apologized after her blunder.
One user shared: "At least she apologized and was nice about it. She could have chosen not to apologize but she did and that shows class," and a second added: "At least she had the decency to apologize and be sweet about it?? what do y'all want."
However, others criticized the delivery and tone of her apology as someone explained: "That wasn’t genuine. She said politically incorrect. She wasn’t apologizing she was covering her a**."
The concertgoer has now been named Vanessa Gorman and they have broken their silence in a new interview with TMZ.
Last Friday (March 15), Gorman - who a paraplegic from a motor vehicle accident in 1999 - told the outlet that she is not offended by the musician's words, saying: "Some people are in wheelchairs and can stand. She had no idea I was paralyzed."
Gorman admitted that she was starstruck over being noticed by her idol, and was even heard shouting "I love you!" during a video taken from her viewpoint.
She also said that she was surprised when Madonna didn't initially see that she was in a bright pink wheelchair and applauded the singer for apologizing immediately.
Madonna has not commented further on the incident.
