Kelly Osbourne has shared a heartbreaking tribute to her dad, Ozzy Osbourne, following his death at 76.
The legendary Black Sabbath frontman died on Tuesday, with his family confirming the devastating news.
They wrote in a joint statement: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time,” the message concluded, signed by wife Sharon, and children Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis.
Now, Kelly, 40, has shared a tribute of her own on her Instagram story, sharing a black screen with lyrics from the song 'Changes' which she and Ozzy recorded as a duet in 2003, reading: "I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had," along with a broken heart emoji.
'Changes', which Ozzy co-wrote with his bandmates, was first released by Black Sabbath in 1972, before he and his daughter recorded a version with revised lyrics in 2003, reflecting their bond.
The track went to number one in the UK, making them the second father-daughter duo to top the chart after Frank and Nancy Sinatra in 1967.
Ozzy, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Black Sabbath and then as a solo artist - was known as much for his wild rockstar antics as he was for his hilarious personality and love for his family.
Once known as The Prince Of Darkness, Ozzy garnered a legion of new fans when the family charted their day to day life in their reality TV show, The Osbournes.
The Emmy-winning MTV show began in 2002, showcasing the crazy lives of Ozzy, his wife Sharon, and their children, Kelly and Jack, now 39.
While only Kelly and Jack regularly appeared on the show, Ozzy had six children, including three with his first wife.
While married to Thelma Riley, Ozzy had Jessica and Louis, and also adopted her son Elliot.
With Sharon, who he was married to for over 40 years, Ozzy had daughter Aimee, as well as Kelly and Jack.
In recent years, Ozzy had suffered many setbacks with his health, and was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2020, a neurodegenerative disorder which affected his mobility.
However, despite the challenges, Ozzy performed his final show just over two weeks before his death, back in his home town of Birmingham.
The emotional Back To The Beginning (BTTB) farewell show took place at Villa Park, and while Ozzy performed seated in a black throne, fans were delighted to hear his iconic voice for his farewell performance.
Backstage, Ozzy also got to witness Slipknot keyboardist Sid Wilson propose to Kelly, with a video of the moment capturing Sid telling her: "Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world," before Ozzy jokingly interjected: "F**k off, you’re not marrying my daughter."
Our thoughts remain with Ozzy's family, friends, and fans at this devastating time.

Kelly Osbourne has broken her silence following the funeral of her father, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away on July 22 at age 76.
Days after his funeral, Kelly posted a bold tribute on Instagram Stories: a giant floral arrangement spelling out "Ozzy F****** Osbourne" in purple flowers.
The wreath, placed near a lake at the family's Buckinghamshire estate where Ozzy was buried, was identical to one carried on the hearse during the public funeral procession through Birmingham, The Sun reports.
Kelly also shared a short clip from the popular reality TV show The Osbournes - which featured some sound advice from her late dad.
In the clip, Ozzy can be seen lying in bed next to wife Sharon, as he tells her: "Listen, all you gotta worry about is getting through today.
"That's all you gotta worry about."
This latest post follows several heartfelt tributes Kelly has shared since Ozzy’s passing. On July 24, she posted lyrics from the song 'Changes', the Black Sabbath ballad she famously re-recorded with her father in 2003: "I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had."
Kelly, 40, had an extraordinarily close bond with her father, once described by Ozzy himself as his “favourite kid.” He said: “Me and Kelly, we’re like two peas in a pod!”
Their bond was visible through decades of public appearances, reality TV, and music. In a memorable video from Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour, shared again last week, Kelly and Ozzy are seen dancing and singing together in a truck during a road trip. As Kelly plays George Ezra’s Paradise, Ozzy smiles, begins swaying to the beat, and responds to her “I love you” with, “I love you more.”
Ozzy Osbourne was laid to rest on July 30 after an emotionally charged procession through his hometown of Birmingham. Fans lined the streets, many holding signs, tattoos, and Prince of Darkness-themed balloons, as a live brass band from Bostin’ Brass led the hearse past landmarks like Aston Villa Football Club and the Black Sabbath Bridge.
Sharon Osbourne, flanked by Kelly, Jack, and Aimee Osbourne, paused to lay flowers wrapped in black paper at the bridge. Sharon, wearing Ozzy’s ring on a chain, was visibly emotional as fans chanted “Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy.” The family also received messages of support from fans, including those shouting: “We love you Sharon.”
Later that day, a private funeral took place at the family’s 250-acre estate near Gerrards Cross, where Ozzy was buried beside a lake—a place he had called home since 1993. A friend told The Sun: “Ozzy wanted his final place of rest to be at home and he is buried at a beautiful point on the lake.”
110 of Ozzy’s closest friends and family attended the intimate ceremony. According to a family friend, “Ozzy’s service was a beautiful tribute. As well as tears, there was laughter.”
Pictures of the rock icon were displayed throughout the house, and each guest was given a photograph to take home. Tents were erected, and a stage was set for tributes by those closest to him—including punk star Yungblud, who had grown close to Ozzy in recent years.
Guests included music legends like Elton John, Metallica’s James Hetfield, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Rob Zombie, and Ozzy’s longtime guitarist Zakk Wylde.
Just weeks before his death, Ozzy performed what would become his final show — Back to the Beginning — at Villa Park in Birmingham.
Despite ongoing health battles, including a 2023 Parkinson’s diagnosis, he told a crowd of 42,000 fans: “You've no idea how I feel — thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Ozzy’s passing has been felt deeply throughout the music world. Tributes have poured in from Sir Rod Stewart, Noel Gallagher, and Sir Elton John, while sales and streams of Black Sabbath's catalogue have surged. Tracks like 'Paranoid', 'Iron Man', and Ozzy’s solo hit 'Crazy Train' re-entered the charts.
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s sprawling Buckinghamshire estate — Welders House — was their sanctuary from the spotlight. An insider said the mansion “had been where he and Sharon escaped from the showbiz world in the 1990s and 2000s to simply focus on family.”
He was buried a stone’s throw away from several bat boxes he had installed in 2022, perhaps a nod to his infamous stage moment decades ago.
As the world continues to mourn the loss of one of rock's biggest icons, Kelly Osbourne’s NSFW floral tribute to her dad stands out not just for its brashness — but as a raw, unfiltered symbol of love and loss.

Ozzy Osbourne made a sweet statement to his daughter Kelly in a touching video posted just days before his death.
Ozzy passed away on July 22 at the age of 76, just weeks after performing one last time with his Black Sabbath bandmates in Birmingham.
It was a full-circle moment for the music legend, who was born in the same city in 1948 and helped pioneer heavy metal with hits like War Pigs and Paranoid.
The Osbourne family confirmed his passing in a heartfelt statement: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. — Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
Just two days before his death, Ozzy was caught in a moment of quiet - sitting at the kitchen table with his daughter Kelly and grandson Sidney, flipping through the papers, headphones on, and a familiar glint in his eye.
The video, shared by Kelly on July 20, captured the beloved rocker cheerfully greeting the camera: “Good morning.”
The clip was filmed inside the family’s Buckinghamshire estate.
Ozzy’s last public performance - Back to the Beginning - took place at Villa Park on July 5.
He reunited with original Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward for an emotional concert that sold out in minutes and drew 42,000 fans.
Sitting on a black throne decorated with a bat, Ozzy told the crowd: “It’s the last song ever. Your support has enabled us to live an amazing lifestyle, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
The night ended with fireworks and a giant message: “Thank you for everything, you guys are f***ing amazing. Birmingham Forever.”
Sharon Osbourne has quietly responded to several online tributes. To BBC Radio 1 DJ Jack Saunders, who called Ozzy “a blessing to music,” she replied: “Jack thank you for your tribute to Ozzy tonight, Bless you.”
Ozzy’s sisters Jean Powell and Gillian Hemming spoke openly about their grief. “To us he was our brother, not a celebrity,” Jean said to the Mirror.
“We just can’t believe he is gone and we won’t be getting another phone call or text from him.” Gillian added: “We were proud as punch about him and everything he achieved. But it never went to his head.”
They also shared the final message Ozzy sent, recalling: “He said he couldn’t believe all the crowds were walking down our old street to watch him perform. He was blown away.”

Just weeks before his death at the age of 76, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne shared a deeply personal and memorable moment with his daughter, Kelly Osbourne, during what would become his final public appearance.
The bittersweet occasion took place at Back to the Beginning, a star-studded concert at Villa Park in Birmingham earlier this month. Billed as Ozzy’s farewell performance following years of health challenges, the event marked not only a milestone in rock history, but also a significant family moment for the Osbourne clan.
Performing seated on a custom black throne adorned with jewelled skulls, the Black Sabbath frontman delivered a solo set before reuniting with original bandmates Terence “Geezer” Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward for the band’s first performance in two decades.
“Let the madness begin,” he declared to the crowd, adding, “It’s so good to be on this stage,” as chants of “Ozzy” echoed through the venue.
But the emotional farewell held an even greater personal significance backstage, where Kelly Osbourne’s partner, Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson, proposed in front of her parents.
The moment, later shared on social media, showed Wilson dropping to one knee while Ozzy looked on. In true form, the heavy metal icon injected humor into the occasion, reportedly quipping: “F*** off, you’re not marrying my daughter,” before Wilson continued with his heartfelt proposal.
“Kelly, you know I love you more than anything,” he said. “Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of my life with you.”
Kelly, 40, who has been in a relationship with Wilson since 2022, accepted the proposal. The couple share a two-year-old son named Sidney.
The engagement marks Kelly’s third, following previous engagements to Luke Worrall and Matthew Mosshart, according to Grazia UK.
In recent interviews, Kelly described her father as her “best friend,” revealing that she dedicated much of her time during pregnancy to being with him.
“My dad is not the way he used to be, since the Parkinson’s and surgeries and everything that happened,” she said. “So I dedicate my life to spending as much time with him as I possibly can.”
The Back to the Beginning concert, organized by Sharon Osbourne, was conceived as a way for Ozzy to thank his fans while raising funds for causes close to the family; Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorns Children’s Hospice.
With an all-star lineup and tributes from across the music industry, the event became a fitting closing chapter to Ozzy Osbourne’s public life – one that included not only his final bow to fans, but also the joy of witnessing his daughter’s next chapter begin.

Sharon Osbourne greeted mourners at Ozzy Osbourne's funeral procession while wearing a touching tribute to her late husband.
The Black Sabbath frontman, who died aged 76 on July 22, was remembered in a heartfelt public funeral procession led by his wife Sharon and children Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis.
Ozzy took one final journey through his hometown of Birmingham, making stops at his beloved Villa Park, childhood home, and the Black Sabbath bridge.
As the hearse passed through Aston, the neighborhood where Ozzy grew up, the crowd erupted with chants of “Ozzy! Ozzy! Ozzy!”
Roses were tossed into the street while a brass band played Black Sabbath classics like Iron Man, turning Birmingham’s city center into a public shrine to a hometown hero.
At the front of it all was Sharon Osbourne, 72, standing with visible emotion. Around her neck hung a gold ring studded with diamonds — a personal tribute believed to be Ozzy’s wedding band, per the Daily Mail.
He’d worn it regularly since their 2017 vow renewal, 35 years after they first married.
Sharon’s silent gesture was one of many that day.
At one point, she raised both hands to flash a double peace sign — a symbol long associated with her husband, who advocated for peace.
Their children each paid tribute in their own way, weaving Ozzy’s spirit into every detail. Kelly, 40, donned his trademark round sunglasses.
Jack, 39, pinned a small silver cross to his tie — echoing the pendant Ozzy wore for decades.
Louis, Ozzy’s son from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, wore a skull-and-crossbones tie in a nod to his dad’s metal persona.
And Aimee Osbourne, the family’s most private member, made a rare public appearance.
Known for avoiding the spotlight — and for famously opting out of MTV’s The Osbournes — Aimee joined her siblings to honor their father.
On her blazer was a small, bat-shaped brooch: a callback to one of the most infamous moments in rock history, where Ozzy bit the head off a real bat, thinking it was fake.
Lord Mayor Zafar Iqbal, who embraced Sharon during the procession, spoke to the star’s deep connection with Birmingham: “I got to know him in the last few weeks when we gave him the freedom of the city and he was just so humble, so down to earth. He was a working class hero.
“I couldn't tell he was a rock star, he was just an ordinary guy, so caring. He had working class roots and he loved his fans, he loved his city, he always promoted Birmingham wherever he went, he was proud to have been born in Aston.
“His slogan was 'Birmingham Forever' and that makes me such a proud citizen. It was a last hurrah for him today.”
The public event was coordinated by Birmingham City Council and funded by the Osbourne family.
“Ozzy was more than a music legend – he was a son of Birmingham,” Iqbal added, per LBC. “We know how much this moment will mean to his fans. We’re proud to host it here with his loving family in the place where it all began.”

Jack Osbourne has opened up about the devastating moment he learned his father, legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, had died.
The rock icon, known worldwide as the “Prince of Darkness,” passed away on July 22 at the age of 76. A family statement at the time confirmed Ozzy died “surrounded by love.”
Jack reflects on his father's final week
In a 16-minute video uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday (September 3), Jack, 39, spoke candidly about his grief and the final memories he shared with his father.
Jack had joined Ozzy for Black Sabbath’s final show on July 5 at Villa Park in Aston, Birmingham. He described his dad as being in good spirits during that time. “My dad was great. He was in a good mood, he was happy,” Jack recalled.
He remained with his family in the U.K. for another week before returning to Los Angeles.
Heartbreakingly, that concert would be the last time he saw his father alive.
The moment Jack learned the news
Fighting back tears, Jack described how he was woken in the early hours of the morning at his Los Angeles home.
“I woke up in Los Angeles to a knock on my house door at around 3.45 in the morning,” he said. “Someone who has worked for my family for about 30 years now was knocking on my door and when I looked through my window and I saw it was him, I knew something bad had happened.”
He continued: “I was informed that my father had passed. Immediately just sadness and pain. So many thoughts.
"You go through this level of feeling sad and frustrated and angry. There’s this part of you that’s like, I have to get there now, I have to.”
Although grief consumed him, Jack said there was some comfort in knowing his father was no longer suffering.
“There was a level of like, ‘OK, he’s not struggling. He’s not suffering anymore.’ And that is something,” Jack explained. “I wish he was still here, you know? I wish he was still with us all, but he was having a rough go and I think people saw that at the show.”
Jack admitted that while his father’s health struggles were well known, the suddenness of his death shocked the family. “No one expected it to happen as quickly as it did,” he said.
Remembering the Prince of Darkness
Ozzy Osbourne, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, reportedly died from a heart attack. Despite his declining health in recent years, he remained a towering figure in music until his final days.
Jack closed his message by thanking fans for their overwhelming support: “The love and support have honestly meant the world.”
